Claims (8)
- 4行程内燃機関の動作方法であって、
吸入弁手段を使用して、燃焼室内への空気の流れを調整するステップと、
排気弁手段を使用して、燃焼室から流れる燃焼したガスの流れを調整するステップと、
噴射手段を使用して、燃焼室に直接燃料を噴射するステップと、
排気行程の最後に至る前に前記排気弁手段を閉じて、燃焼したガスを燃焼室内に閉じ込めるステップと、
吸気行程の途中で前記吸入弁手段を開いて、燃焼室内に給気を受け入れることによって、既に閉じ込められている燃焼したガスと該給気が混合されるステップと、
前記噴射手段を使用して、閉じ込められている燃焼したガスおよび前記吸気行程で前記吸入弁手段の制御下によって導入された充填空気の混合物内に、燃料を噴射するステップと、を含み、その結果、
前記燃焼室には、燃料、空気、燃焼したガスの混合物が自己点火によって燃焼し、燃焼したガスが爆発行程で膨張できる状態が作られ、
前記噴射手段を再び使用して、排気行程において前記排気弁手段が閉じてから次の吸気行程において前記吸入弁手段が開くまでの間に燃焼室内に閉じ込められた、燃焼したガス内に燃料を噴射し、
使用される前記噴射手段は、燃料が混入されて燃焼室内に送り込まれる圧縮空気を利用するエアアシストフューエルインジェクタを含み、
前記噴射手段を再び使用して噴射された前記燃料が、排気行程において前記排気弁手段が閉じてから吸気行程において吸入弁手段が開くまでの間に、自己点火によって燃焼する、
ことを特徴とする4行程内燃機関の動作方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、閉じ込められている燃焼したガスおよび前記吸入弁手段の制御によって導入された充填空気の混合物内に、噴射される燃料が、吸気行程の初期において噴射されて、該燃料が空気および燃焼したガスと混合し、自己点火の前に、実質的に均質な混合物を形成することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法であって、閉じ込められている燃焼したガスおよび前記吸入弁手段の制御によって導入された充填空気の混合物内に、噴射される燃料が、吸気行程の最後、または圧縮行程の開始時において、前記弁手段が燃焼室内への空気の流れを止めた後においてのみ噴射されることを特徴とする方法。
- 4行程内燃機関の動作方法であって、
吸入弁手段を使用して、燃料と空気の混合物の燃焼室内への進入を調整するステップと、
コンプレッサを使用して、燃料と空気の混合物を、該混合物が燃焼室内に進入する前に圧縮するステップと、
排気弁手段を使用して、燃焼室からの燃焼したガスの流れを調整する手段と、
排気行程の最後に至る前に前記排気弁手段を閉じて、燃焼したガスを燃焼室内に閉じ込めるステップと、
吸気行程の途中で前記吸入弁手段を開いて、燃料と空気の混合物の給気を燃焼室内に受け入れることによって、既に閉じ込められている燃焼したガスと該給気が混合されるステップと、を含み、その結果、
前記燃焼室には、燃料、空気、燃焼したガスの混合物が自己点火によって燃焼し、燃焼したガスが爆発行程で膨張できる状態が作られ、
前記排気行程において前記排気弁手段が閉じた後、前記吸気行程の途中で前記吸入弁手段が開くまでの間に、前記吸入弁手段を開いて、燃料と空気の事前調節給気を燃焼室に受け入れ、該給気は、排気行程において前記排気弁手段が閉じてから吸気行程において該吸入弁手段が開いて燃料と空気の前記給気を受け入れるまでの間に閉じ込められた、燃焼したガスと混合されて、爆発行程において燃焼されて膨張することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の方法であって、
前記燃焼室は、シリンダ内で往復運動するピストンによって該シリンダ内に画定される容量が変化するチャンバであり、
前記吸気弁手段と排気弁手段の開閉は、命令プログラムに従って動作し、シリンダ内で往復運動する前記ピストンの位置を表す入力信号を受け取る電子処理装置によって制御されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項5に記載の方法であって、前記弁手段は、液圧駆動される排気弁と、液圧駆動される吸入弁とを備え、そのいずれの弁も前記電子処理装置によって制御されることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項6に記載の方法であって、液圧駆動される前記いずれの弁も、ポペット弁であることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1つに記載の方法に従って動作することを特徴とする4行程内燃機関。
