本発明は、牽引フックの取り付けを可能とする車両用牽引装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
車両を牽引するためのフックを車両のサイドフレームに固定するナットと螺合自在とさせることは、特開2001−171560号公報に開示される如く知られている。この場合、フックの先端部がバンパリインフォースを通りバンパの下方へと延在する固定式のものと、フックをナットに着脱自在とし、フックをナットに螺合させたときフックの先端部がバンパの前方に位置する着脱式のものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来技術では、ナットをサイドメンバー側の部材に溶接又はネジ止めし、このナットにフックを螺合させていることから、ナットとフックとの螺合部と荷重を受けるフック先端部とのアームが大で、ナットを保持するサイドメンバー側の部材に大きな曲げモーメントを作用させることになり、サイドメンバー側の部材の破損を招きやすい。

ナットをバンパリインフォースを貫通させ、その先端をバンパの位置まで延在させ、この先端にフックを螺合させる試みがあるが、これはナットの長さが伸びフックの長さが短くなったのみで、曲げモーメントの作用するアームの長さには変わりない。したがって、この手段もサイドメンバー側の部材の破損を招きやすい。

それ故に、本発明は、前述した従来技術の不具合を解消させることを解決すべき課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、前述した課題を解決するために、フックと螺合するナット部材をバンパリインフォースにナットを用いて固定し、さらに、ナット部材をサイドメンバーの蓋板に溶接して固定する手段を採用する。

この手段の採用は、フックの先端部とナット部材の固定部との間の寸法を小さくし、サイドメンバー側の損傷を小さくさせる。

本発明によれば、車両用牽引フックと螺合可能なナット部材が、車両の幅方向に延在するバンパリインフォースの前壁部の内面と接する段部を有し、前壁部より前方に延出する部分にナットが締め付け可能となっていることを特徴とする車両用牽引装置が提供される。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の好ましい実施の形態の車両用牽引装置1はナット部材2を含む。ナット部材2は、その本体部11の後方のフランジ部3と、前方の段部4と、段部4により作られかつ本体部11より前方へ延在する小径部5と、小径部5の外周面に設けた雄ネジ部6と、中央部を貫通する雌ネジ部7とを有す。

雄ネジ部6にはナット8が螺合自在となっている。バンパリインフォース9は、断面目の字状のもので、その中央の中空部を画定する前壁部10は小径部5を通す孔を有し、後壁部12は本体部11を通す孔を有し、段部4が前壁部10の内面に当接する。この当接状態で、ナット8を雄ネジ部6に締め付けると、段部4がバンパリインフォースに密着することになる。

サイドメンバー13の蓋板14の内面にフランジ部3を溶接する。これにより、ナット部材2はサイドメンバー13側の部材14に固定されることになる。
