【従来の技術】
車両を牽引するためのフックを車両のサイドフレームに固定するナットと螺合自在とさせることは、特開2001−171560号公報に開示される如く知られている。この場合、フックの先端部がバンパリインフォースを通りバンパの下方へと延在する固定式のものと、フックをナットに着脱自在とし、フックをナットに螺合させたときフックの先端部がバンパの前方に位置する着脱式のものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来技術では、ナットをサイドメンバー側の部材に溶接又はネジ止めし、このナットにフックを螺合させていることから、ナットとフックとの螺合部と荷重を受けるフック先端部とのアームが大で、ナットを保持するサイドメンバー側の部材に大きな曲げモーメントを作用させることになり、サイドメンバー側の部材の破損を招きやすい。

ナットをバンパリインフォースを貫通させ、その先端をバンパの位置まで延在させ、この先端にフックを螺合させる試みがあるが、これはナットの長さが伸びフックの長さが短くなったのみで、曲げモーメントの作用するアームの長さには変わりない。したがって、この手段もサイドメンバー側の部材の破損を招きやすい。

本発明の好ましい実施の形態の車両用牽引装置1はナット部材2を含む。ナット部材2は、その本体部11の後方のフランジ部3と、前方の段部4と、段部4により作られかつ本体部11より前方へ延在する小径部5と、小径部5の外周面に設けた雄ネジ部6と、中央部を貫通する雌ネジ部7とを有す。
