Description
前記制御手段は、前記開閉バルブの制御を、前記複数の圧力室のすべてが順次、燃料圧送する通常制御と、前記複数の開閉バルブのうち、一部の開閉バルブの閉弁を休止して前記圧力室内の燃料を非加圧状態とすることにより燃料の圧送を間引く間引き制御とのいずれかに切替え自在とする。

Claims (4)
- 機関動力で容積が拡縮する圧力室であって拡縮するタイミングが異なる複数の圧力室と、該複数の圧力室と1対1に対応して設けられ、圧力室を開閉する複数の開閉バルブとを有し、前記圧力室内に貯留する燃料を前記開閉バルブの閉弁により前記圧力室内に閉じ込め、前記圧力室の容積の縮小に伴い前記圧力室内の燃料を圧送する燃料ポンプと、要求される燃料の圧送量に応じて前記開閉バルブを閉弁する時期を設定する制御手段とを有する内燃機関の燃料供給装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記開閉バルブの制御を、前記複数の圧力室のすべてが順次、燃料圧送する通常制御と、前記複数の開閉バルブのうち、一部の開閉バルブの閉弁を休止して前記圧力室内の燃料を非加圧状態とすることにより燃料の圧送を間引く間引き制御とのいずれかに切替え自在としたことを特徴とする内燃機関の燃料供給装置。 - 請求項1記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置において、前記間引き制御から前記通常制御に切替った直後の期間においては、燃料圧送が間引かれていた圧力室の開閉バルブの閉弁時期を最初は遅らせて少量の燃料圧送から開始し、漸次閉弁時期を早めて燃料の圧送量を増加せしめる過渡制御を実行するように設定した内燃機関の燃料供給装置。
- 請求項1または2いずれか記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置において、前記通常制御から前記間引き制御に切替わる直前の期間においては、燃料の圧送を間引く圧力室の開閉バルブの閉弁時期を漸次遅らせて燃料の圧送量を漸次、減少せしめる別の過渡制御を実行するように設定した内燃機関の燃料供給装置。
- 請求項1ないし3いずれか記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置において、前記制御手段は、内燃機関の運転状態に基づいて現在および直後における燃料圧送の要求の程度を判断し、燃料圧送の要求の程度が弱い運転状態のときには前記間引き制御を選択するように設定した内燃機関の燃料供給装置。
