Claims (15)
- 治療用のイオンビームを照射対象に照射するイオンビームを用いる治療装置において、
前記イオンビームを発生するビーム発生装置と、
前記ビーム発生装置からの前記イオンビームを導くビーム輸送装置と、
前記ビーム輸送装置からの前記イオンビームを出射するビーム照射装置と、
X線を放出するX線発生装置と、
前記X線発生装置、前記ビーム輸送装置及び前記ビーム照射装置が設置され、前記イオンビームの照射方向の情報に基づく前記ビーム照射装置が所定の角度になるまでの第1の回転及び前記X線発生装置がX線を放出する間における第2の回転を行う回転ガントリーと、
前記ビーム輸送装置及びビーム照射装置が設けられた前記回転ガントリーの前記第2の回転に伴って前記回転ガントリーの回転軸の周りを旋回しかつ前記第2の回転中に前記回転ガントリーの複数の回転角度でX線を放出する前記X線発生装置と、
前記第2の回転に伴って前記回転軸の周りを旋回しかつ前記第2の回転中に前記X線発生装置から放出された前記X線を検出してX線検出信号を出力する複数のX線検出器と、
前記回転ガントリーの回転角度を検出する角度検出装置と、
前記第2の回転中に前記複数のX線検出器から出力されたそれぞれの前記X線検出信号、及び検出された前記回転角度を用いて求められた、前記X線を放出している前記X線発生装置及び前記X線検出信号を出力するX線検出器のそれぞれの位置情報を基に得られた各情報を用いて、前記照射対象の三次元画像情報を作成する画像情報作成装置とを備えたことを特徴とするイオンビームを用いる治療装置。 - 前記X線発生装置は、前記第2の回転に伴って前記回転ガントリーの回転軸の周りを旋回する前記ビーム照射装置に設置され、前記イオンビームが通るビーム経路内の第1位置と前記ビーム経路から離れた第2位置との間を移動する請求項1記載のイオンビームを用いる治療装置。
- 前記ビーム照射装置は、前記第1位置と前記第2位置との間で前記X線発生装置を移動させる移動装置を有する請求項2記載のイオンビームを用いる治療装置。
- 前記照射対象を支持し、前記イオンビームが通るビーム経路の延長線上への位置決めが可能なベッドを備えた請求項1記載の荷電粒子ビームを用いる治療装置。
- 前記三次元画像情報、及び前記照射対象に対する治療計画時に得た前記照射対象の断層像情報を用いて、前記ベッドの位置決め情報を生成する位置決め情報生成装置と、前記位置決め情報を用いて前記ベッドの移動を制御するベッド移動制御装置とを備えた請求項4記載のイオンビームを用いる治療装置。
- 前記照射対象を支持し、前記ビーム経路の延長線上への配置が可能なベッドを備えた請求項2記載のイオンビームを用いる治療装置。
- 前記三次元画像情報、及び前記照射対象に対する治療計画時に得た前記照射対象の断層像情報を用いて、前記ベッドの位置決め情報を生成する位置決め情報生成装置と、前記位置決め情報を用いて前記ベッドの移動を制御するベッド移動制御装置とを備えた請求項6記載のイオンビームを用いる治療装置。
- 前記位置決め情報生成装置は、前記位置決め情報の生成を、前記三次元画像情報及び治療計画時に得た三次元の前記断層像情報を用いて行う請求項5記載のイオンビームを用いる治療装置。
- 前記ビーム照射装置の移動経路を挟んで配置される、前記回転ガントリー内に設置された回転可能な第1環状フレーム、及び前記ビーム照射装置の固定された第2環状フレームと、前記第1及び第2環状フレームにそれぞれ設けられた環状ガイドによってガイドされ、前記回転ガントリーの周方向に屈曲自在で、前記ビーム照射装置の旋回によって前記周方向に移動する移動床とを備え、前記ビーム照射装置は前記移動床によって囲まれて形成された空間内に挿入されており、前記複数のX線検出器は前記X線発生装置から放出された前記X線の検出を前記空間内で行う請求項2記載のイオンビームを用いる治療装置。
- 前記X線発生装置から放出されるX線が入射される位置に前記複数のX線検出器を位置させる検出部移動装置を備えた請求項1記載のイオンビームを用いる治療装置。
- 前記位置決め情報生成装置は、前記位置決め情報の生成に際し、前記三次元画像情報を基に作成した二次元画像情報を用いる請求項5記載のイオンビームを用いる治療装置。
- 前記照射対象を支持し、前記イオンビームが通るビーム経路の延長線上への位置決めが可能なベッドと、
水平方向に伸びる軸をX軸、鉛直方向に伸びる軸をZ軸、前記X軸及びZ軸のそれぞれに対して直交しかつ前記回転ガントリーの回転軸方向に伸びる軸をY軸と定義するとき、前記照射対象に対する治療計画時に用いた前記照射対象の三次元画像情報を用いて、前記X軸及び前記Y軸によって画定された、前記回転軸上のアイソセンタを含むX−Y平面における二次元画像情報、及び前記X軸及び前記Z軸によって画定された、前記アイソセンタを含むX−Z平面における二次元画像情報をそれぞれ第1及び第2基準画像情報として作成し、前記画像情報作成装置で作成した前記照射対象の三次元画像情報を用いて、前記第1基準画像情報と同じ前記X−Y平面における二次元画像情報及び前記第2基準画像情報と同じ前記X−Z平面における二次元画像情報をそれぞれ第1及び第2現在画像情報として作成し、前記第1基準画像情報及び前記第1現在画像情報を用いて前記X−Y平面における前記ベッドの第1位置決め情報を生成し、前記第2基準画像情報及び前記第2現在画像情報を用いて前記X−Z平面における前記ベッドの第2位置決め情報を生成する位置決め情報生成装置と、
前記第1及び第2位置決め情報を用いて前記ベッドの移動を制御するベッド移動制御装置とを更に備えた請求項1記載のイオンビームを用いる治療装置。 - 前記X線検出器は、複数個のシンチレータ又は半導体を密接した状態で配置した検出器であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のイオンビームを用いる治療装置。
- イオンビームを導くビーム輸送装置と、
前記ビーム輸送装置からの前記イオンビームを出射するビーム照射装置と、
X線を放出するX線発生装置と、
前記X線発生装置、前記ビーム輸送装置及び前記ビーム照射装置が設置され、前記イオンビームの照射方向の情報に基づく前記ビーム照射装置が所定の角度になるまでの第1の回転及び前記X線発生装置がX線を放出する間における第2の回転を行う回転ガントリーとを備えた治療装置のベッド位置決め装置であって、
前記ビーム輸送装置及びビーム照射装置が設けられた前記回転ガントリーの前記第2の回転に伴って前記回転ガントリーの回転軸の周りを旋回しかつ前記第2の回転中に前記回転ガントリーの複数の回転角度でX線を放出する前記X線発生装置と、
前記第2の回転に伴って前記回転軸の周りを旋回しかつ前記第2の回転中に前記X線発生装置から放出された前記X線を検出してX線検出信号を出力する複数のX線検出器と、
前記回転ガントリーの回転角度を検出する角度検出装置と、
前記第2の回転中に前記複数のX線検出器から出力されたそれぞれの前記X線検出信号、及び検出された前記回転角度を用いて求められた、前記X線を放出している前記X線発生装置及び前記X線検出信号を出力するX線検出器のそれぞれの位置情報を基に得られた各情報を用いて作成した照射対象の三次元画像情報と、治療計画時に得た前記照射対象の断層像情報に基づいてベッドを位置決めする制御装置とを備えたことを特徴とするベッド位置決め装置。 - 前記制御装置は、水平方向に伸びる軸をX軸、鉛直方向に伸びる軸をZ軸、前記X軸及びZ軸のそれぞれに対して直交しかつ前記回転ガントリーの回転軸方向に伸びる軸をY軸と定義するとき、前記治療計画時に用いた前記照射対象の三次元の断層像情報を用いて、前記X軸及び前記Y軸によって画定された、前記回転軸上のアイソセンタを含むX−Y平面における二次元画像情報、及び前記X軸及び前記Z軸によって画定された、前記アイソセンタを含むX−Z平面における二次元画像情報をそれぞれ第1及び第2基準画像情報として作成し、前記X線検出信号、前記X線発生装置の位置情報及び前記X線検出器の位置情報を基に得られた前記照射対象の三次元画像情報を用いて、前記第1基準画像情報と同じ前記X−Y平面における二次元画像情報及び前記第2基準画像情報と同じ前記X−Z平面における二次元画像情報をそれぞれ第1及び第2現在画像情報として作成し、前記第1基準画像情報及び前記第1現在画像情報を用いて前記X−Y平面における前記ベッドの第1位置決め情報を生成し、前記第2基準画像情報及び前記第2現在画像情報を用いて前記X−Z平面における前記ベッドの第2位置決め情報を生成する請求項14記載のベッド位置決め装置。
