Description
本発明は排気ガス処理システムの監視方法および装置に関する。
所定の駆動状態が発生しているのに所定の駆動特性量が予測されたように変化しなかったときエラーを識別することにより、車両運転中に排気ガス処理システムを監視することができる。
本発明を図示し、実施例に則して詳細に説明する。図1には本発明の装置のブロック図が示されている。図2には本発明の方法のフローチャートが示されている。
本発明の手法を以下に酸化触媒の実施例に則して説明する。ただしこの手法は酸化触媒に適用するのみにとどまらない。本発明は全ての排気ガス処理システムで使用することができる。ここで所定の駆動状態とこれに対応する動作特性量の変化量とのあいだの相関関係は排気ガス処理システムの作用に基づいて生じる。
Claims (9)
- 排気ガス処理システム(112、114)後方の排気ガスの温度を第1の温度センサ(124)で測定し、排気ガス処理システム(112、114)前方の排気ガスの温度を第2の温度センサ(125)で測定し、
燃焼していない炭化水素の成分が内燃機関(100)の排気ガス中で増大したことに基づいて排気ガス処理システム(112、114)の後方で測定された温度が予測された温度上昇を生じた場合に排気ガス処理システムにエラーがないことを識別する内燃機関(100)の排気管(104)内に配置された排気ガス処理システム(112、114)の診断方法において、
排気ガス処理システム(112、114)の前方に配置された第2の温度センサ(125)で測定される温度が、燃焼していない炭化水素の成分の増大後、所定の時間範囲中に僅かしか変化しない場合にのみ診断を行う
ことを特徴とする排気ガス処理システムの監視方法。 - 内燃機関(100)の駆動状態が診断終了前に変化した場合に診断を終了する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 所定の駆動状態が発生しており、かつ最後の診断および/または最後の診断中止からの最小待機時間が経過している場合に診断を行う、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 温度に作用する燃料の後噴射を行って内燃機関(100)の排気ガス中に燃焼していない炭化水素成分を増大させる、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 後噴射で調量された燃料量および/または後噴射の噴射時点が所定の領域内にあるとき診断を行う、請求項4記載の方法。
- 温度に作用する後噴射が識別された場合に診断を行う、請求項4または5記載の方法。
- 後噴射が所定の時間範囲中中止されずにアクティブとなった場合にのみ診断を行う、請求項6記載の方法。
- 排気ガス処理システム(112、114)として配置された酸化触媒(112)に適用する、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 排気ガス処理システム(112、114)として配置された粒子フィルタ(114)に適用する、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
