Claims (4)
- 一対の基板の一方に常圧で液晶を滴下し、シール材を用いて前記一方の基板と他方の基板とを貼り合わせる液晶表示パネルの製造方法において、
前記一対の基板に形成した配向膜にラビング処理を行った後の洗浄、乾燥工程直後に、前記一対の基板に対して、1Pa以下の減圧雰囲気中で100℃以上の加熱処理をする真空乾燥処理を行うことを特徴とする液晶表示パネルの製造方法。 - 前記真空乾燥処理を行った前記一対の基板のうち、前記他方の基板にスペーサを散布して固着させた後、前記一方の基板に常圧で前記液晶を滴下する前に、前記一対の基板に対して、所定の形状のノズル内部を減圧しノズル先端近傍に発生する気流により異物を吸引する吸引処理と、超音波が印加された気流を吹き付けて異物を除去する吹き付け処理とを行うことにより、ラビング残留物およびスペーサ凝集物を確実に除去することを特徴とする請求項1記載の液晶表示パネルの製造方法。
- 前記シール材の硬化処理は、前記真空乾燥処理を行った前記一対の基板を貼り合わせた直後に行う仮硬化処理と、前記真空乾燥処理を行った前記一対の基板に所望のギャップが形成された後に行う本硬化処理とからなり、
前記本硬化処理を液晶の相転移温度以下の硬化温度で行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載の液晶表示パネルの製造方法。 - 請求項1記載の前記真空乾燥処理後、請求項2記載の前記吸引処理及び前記吹き付け処理、及び、請求項3記載の前記本硬化処理を行うことを特徴とする液晶表示パネルの製造方法。
