Claims (24)
- 基板と、
前記基板の一面に形成されたものであって、相互対向した1対の電極と、前記1対の電極間に介在し、前記電極から供給された電子及び正孔により発光する有機発光層を少なくとも含む有機層と、を備えた有機電界発光部と、
前記有機電界発光部を外気から遮断するように前記基板に結合されるものであって、縁に沿って密封部を備えた、透明な基板からなる密封部材と、
前記基板と密封部材間との空間の水分を吸収し、透明であり、水分を吸収した後にも透明に維持される物質よりなったものであって、前記密封部材の前記有機電界発光部に向かった面に前記密封部と接しないように配置された多孔性物質層と、を含み、
前記密封部材に向かった電極は透明な導電材からなり、前記多孔性物質層は前記有機発光層から放射された光が前記空間でモアレ現象を起こさないように、前記有機電界発光部から所定距離離隔されてなることを特徴とする有機ELディスプレイ。 - 前記多孔性物質層は前記有機電界発光部の面積と同じ大きさ、または、前記有機電界発光部の面積より大きく形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記密封部と前記多孔性物質層の縁との間に、隔壁が配置されてなることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記密封部材内側面には、前記密封部材の表面から所定深さを有する収容部を備え、前記多孔性物質層は前記収容部に配置されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記多孔性物質層は、前記有機電界発光部から少なくとも10μm離隔されてなることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記多孔性物質層が前記有機電界発光部から離隔された距離は、1,000μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記密封部材は、ガラス基板または透明なプラスチック基板であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記プラスチック基板の内側面は、水分から保護するための膜が形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記多孔性物質層を形成する物質は、複数の吸湿孔を有する多孔性酸化物層であることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記多孔性酸化物層は、100nm〜50μmの範囲の厚さを有することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記多孔性酸化物層の吸湿孔は、0.5nm〜100nmの範囲の直径を有することを特徴とする請求項9または10に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 基板と、
前記基板の一面に形成されたものであって、相互対向した1対の電極と、前記1対の電極間に介在し、前記電極から供給された電子及び正孔により発光する有機発光層を少なくとも含む有機層と、を備えた有機電界発光部と、
透明な素材からなり、前記有機電界発光部を外気から遮断するように前記基板に結合される密封部材と、
前記密封部材の前記有機電界発光部に向かった面に配置されたものであって、前記基板と密封部材間との空間の水分を吸収し、透明であり、水分を吸収した後にも透明に維持される物質よりなり、前記有機電界発光部とは前記有機発光層から発散された光が前記空間でモアレを起こさない程度に所定距離離隔されて形成された多孔性物質層と、を含むことを特徴とする有機ELディスプレイ。 - 前記密封部材の前記有機電界発光部に向かった面に収容部を備え、前記多孔性物質層が前記収容部に配置されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記密封部材は、ガラス基板からなり、前記収容部は、前記ガラス基板の前記有機電界発光部に向かった面にエッチングにより形成されたことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記密封部材と前記基板との間には、隔壁が備えられ、前記多孔性物質層は、前記隔壁の内側の、前記密封部材上に形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項12〜14のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記密封部材は、密封部材の縁に沿って形成された密封部により前記基板に接合され、
前記密封部には前記多孔性物質層と前記有機電界発光部間の距離が維持できるようにスペーサーを備えることを特徴とする請求項12〜15のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。 - 前記多孔性物質層は、前記有機電界発光部から少なくとも10μm離隔されてなることを特徴とする請求項12〜16のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記多孔性物質層が前記有機電界発光部から離隔された距離は、1,000μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項12〜17のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記密封部材はガラス基板または透明なプラスチック基板であることを特徴とする請求項12〜18のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記プラスチック基板の内側面は、水分から保護するための膜が形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記有機電界発光部の電極のうち少なくとも密封部材に向かった電極は、透明な導電材からなることを特徴とする請求項12〜20のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記多孔性物質層を形成する物質は、複数の吸湿孔を有する多孔性酸化物層であることを特徴とする請求項12〜21のいずれか1項に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記多孔性酸化物層は、100nm〜50μmの範囲の厚さを有することを特徴とする請求項22に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
- 前記多孔性酸化物層の吸湿孔は、0.5nm〜100nmの範囲の直径を有することを特徴とする請求項22または23に記載の有機ELディスプレイ。
