Description
−試料−
EPDM(JSR(株)製、商品名:EP33、ムーニー粘度:45、エチレン含有量:52%、ジエン含有量:8.1%)100重量部、酸化亜鉛5重量部、ステアリン酸1.0重量部、HAFカーボン80重量部、オイル(コウモレックス)50重量部、硫黄1.5重量部、テトラメチルチウラムジスルフィド(TMT)1.0重量部、2−メルカプトベンゾチアゾール(M)0.5重量部および、可塑性オイルとしてアロマオイル((株)富士興産製製、商品名:フッコール アロマックス3、粘度:23.6、比重:1.08)あるいはナフテンオイル(新日本石油(株)製、商品名:コウモレックスH−22、粘度:0.92、比重:0.92)50重量部をロール混練りし、均一に分散させ、各々2mm厚の加硫シートに作成し試料とした。加硫は硫黄加硫160℃×15分で行った。
塩素水にイオン交換水を加えて塩素濃度を50ppmに調整し、80℃で720時間浸漬させ劣化処理を行った。
処理後の試験片について、目視観察およびSEMによる観察を行うとともに、ゴム表面近傍の硬さを高分子計器(株)製マイクロゴム硬度計を用いて測定し、JIS K 6251に基づいた引張試験を行い、JIS K 6258での計算式に基づき、硬さ,引張り,伸び,体積,質量のそれぞれの変化率を求めた。試験の結果は表1に示すとおりである。また、図1に試料表面に対し行ったSEMによる観察写真を示した。
実施例1において、アロマオイルあるいはナフテンオイル50重量部を使用せず、パラフィンオイル(出光興産製、商品名:PW−380、粘度:381.6、比重:0.8769)を用いた以外は実施例1と同様に行った。結果を表1に示す。また、図1に試料表面に対し行ったSEMによる観察写真を示した。
Claims (2)
- エチレンプロピレンゴム、ブチルゴム、アクリロニトリゴム、クロロプレンゴム、スチレンブタジエンゴムおよびブタジエンゴムよりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種のゴムとアロマオイルおよびナフテンオイルよりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の可塑性オイルとを配合することを特徴とする、ゴムの耐塩素劣化性向上方法。
- 上記少なくとも1種のゴム100重量部に対し、上記少なくとも1種の可塑性オイル3〜100重量部を配合する請求項1に記載のゴムの耐塩素劣化性向上方法。
