Description
マウス初代培養肝細胞中の中性脂質の含量に対するローズヒップ抽出物の影響を検討した。
ローズヒップ(種子を含む果実)破砕物をハーブの原料として用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、ローズヒップの果実抽出物のDMSO溶液を調製し、実施例1と同様にして、対照群の中性脂質量に対する試験群の中性脂質量の割合を求めた。結果を表2に示す。
ローズヒップ抽出物が、肝細胞における脂肪代謝改善効果を有することから、脂肪の代謝を促進するL−カルニチンを添加した場合の脂肪代謝改善効果のさらなる強化について検討した。培地A中にL−カルニチンを0.1μg/mLとなるように添加したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、肝細胞の中性脂質含量を測定した。結果を表3に示す。
ローズヒップの代わりに、表4に記載のハーブを用いたこと以外は実施例1と同じ方法で各ハーブの抽出物の調製および試料溶液の調製を行い、そして、肝細胞の中性脂質含量を測定した。結果を表4に示す。なお、試験に用いた各ハーブの抽出物の濃度は、300μg/mLであった。
実施例1で調製したローズヒップ抽出物を、実験動物(マウス)に経口投与して、肝臓における脂肪代謝改善効果を検討した。
実施例5のローズヒップ抽出物に代えて、表4のNo.1〜37のハーブ抽出物を用いたこと以外は実施例5と同様にして、経口投与によるマウス肝臓における脂肪代謝改善効果を検討した。結果を表6に示す。
肥満および生活習慣病のリスクファクターの一つである内臓脂肪に対するローズヒップ抽出物の摂取による影響を検討した。
ローズヒップ抽出物の代わりに、表8に記載のハーブ抽出物を用いたこと以外は実施例7と同様にして、各ハーブ抽出物をマウスに経口投与(30日間)した場合の体重および内臓脂肪の質量変化を検討した。各ハーブ抽出物の投与量は1000mg/kg体重/日とした。結果を表8に示す。
ローズヒップ抽出物の摂取による抗肥満効果をヒトにおいて検討した。ローズヒップ抽出物として、実施例1で調製したローズヒップ抽出物を用いた。試験は森下仁丹株式会社のボランティアの健常成人男性(24〜40才)で、BMIによる肥満度1(BMI=25〜30未満)、および肥満度2(BMI=30〜35未満)に該当する被験者10名により実施した。なお、BMI(Body Mass Index)とは、該当者の体重(kg)を身長(m)の2乗で除した値である。ローズヒップ抽出物の摂取量は、1日あたり乾物量で900mg(食間2回および就寝前に1回各300mg)とした。摂取期間は30日間とし、実験開始時および最終日に体重および体脂肪率を、タニタ社製脂肪計付ヘルスメーターTBF−560を使用して測定した。測定結果は平均値±標準誤差で表記し、有意差の検定は初期値に対して行った。結果を表9に示す。
ハーブ抽出物の経口摂取用の応用例として、チュアブル錠製剤処方例を表10に示す。
さらに、ハーブ抽出物の、別の経口摂取の応用例として、ドリンク剤の処方例を表11に示す。
Claims (2)
- ローズヒップの種子を含む果実の極性溶媒抽出物を有効成分として含有する、脂肪代謝改善剤。
- さらにカルニチンを含有する、請求項1に記載の脂肪代謝改善剤。
