Description
「パケットのインシーケンス送達を用いたHARQ方式」(HARQ SCHEME WITH IN-SEQUENCE DELIVERY OF PACKET)と題される2001年5月18日に提出された米国仮出願番号第60/292,023号が参照され、米国仮出願番号第60/292,023号の優先権が主張される。
本発明は、3GPP(第3世代パートナーシップ・プロジェクト)広帯域符号分割多元接続(WCDMA)リリース5、高速ダウンリンクパケットアクセスに規定されるようなシステムにより提供されるが、他の種類の無線通信システムによっても提供される無線通信に関する。詳細には、本発明は、HSDPAで使用されるいわゆるハイブリッド自動再送要求(HARQ)の変型、つまり受信側無線端末の無線リンク制御層(RLC)に対するプロトコルデータユニット(PDU)のインシーケンス(順序づけられた)送達を可能にする変型に関する。
Claims (13)
- 送信側端末(11)の第1のプロトコル層が、さらに高いプロトコル層(12a)にパケットを送達する受信側端末(12)のピア第1プロトコル層(12b)に、データブロックのシーケンスとしてパケットを送信する階層化されたプロトコルを使用する無線通信システムで使用するための方法であって、
a)送信側端末(11)が受信側端末(12)への伝送のためにデータブロックのシーケンスに応えてそれぞれのデータブロックシーケンス番号をデータブロックのシーケンスの各データブロックに割り当てる工程(41)と、
b)受信側端末(12)がデータブロックのシーケンスに、およびそれぞれのデータブロックシーケンス番号に応えて、データブロックのシーケンスの中のデータブロックの少なくともいくつかを順番に受信側端末(12)のさらに高いプロトコル層(12a)に送達する工程と
を含み、該方法が
c)受信側端末(12)が、それぞれのデータブロックシーケンス番号を示す情報を提供せずにデータブロックの受信を肯定応答する工程によって特徴づけられる方法。 - シーケンス番号がデータブロックとともにインバンドで通信されることをさらに特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- シーケンス番号がアウトバンドで通信されることをさらに特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- シーケンス番号がHARQ結合で使用されることをさらに特徴とする請求項3記載の方法。
- 各データブロックが別々に肯定応答されることをさらに特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 肯定応答が所定の遅延の後に送信されることをさらに特徴とする請求項5記載の方法。
- 階層化されたプロトコルが、MAC−hsエンティティを有するMAC層を含み、RLC層も含み、さらに第1の層がMAC層であり、さらに高い層がRLC層であり、さらに、受信側端末のMAC−hsエンティティが、シーケンス番号を使用せずにデータブロックの受領を肯定応答するシグナリングを提供し、受信側エンティティのRLC層に順番にデータブロックを送達することを特徴とする請求項1記載記載の方法。
- 無線通信システムを介して、他の無線端末を含む他の通信装置との無線通信で使用するための無線端末であって、それが請求項1記載の方法のそれぞれの工程にしたがって送信側端末(11)または受信側端末(12)のどちらかとして作動していることを特徴とする無線端末。
- 無線通信システムを介して、他の無線端末を含む他の通信装置との無線通信で使用するための無線端末であって、それが、請求項7記載の方法のそれぞれの工程にしたがって送信側端末(11)または受信側端末(12)のどちらかとして作動していることを特徴とする無線端末。
- 無線通信を介して無線端末と他の無線端末を含む他の通信装置とのあいだに少なくとも接続の部分を提供する無線通信システムの要素として使用するための基地局であって、それが請求項1記載の方法のそれぞれの工程にしたがって送信側端末(11)または受信側端末(12)のどちらかとして作動していることを特徴とする基地局。
- 無線通信を介して無線端末と他の無線端末を含む他の通信装置とのあいだに少なくとも接続の部分を提供する無線通信システムの要素として使用するための基地局であって、それが請求項7記載の方法のそれぞれの工程にしたがって送信側端末(11)または受信側端末(12)のどちらかとして作動していることを特徴とする基地局。
- 無線通信を介して無線端末と他の無線端末を含む他の通信装置とのあいだに少なくとも接続の部分を提供する無線通信システムであって、送信側端末(11)として、および受信側端末(12)として機能できる少なくとも2つの端末(11、12)を有し、該少なくとも2つの端末(11、12)がともに請求項1の方法のそれぞれの工程にしたがって送信側端末(11)と受信側端末(12)の両方として作動していることを特徴とする無線通信システム。
- 無線通信を介して無線端末と他の無線端末を含む他の通信装置とのあいだに少なくとも接続の部分を提供する無線通信システムであって、送信側端末(11)として、および受信側端末(12)として機能できる少なくとも2つの端末(11、12)を有し、該少なくとも2つの端末(11、12)がともに請求項7の方法のそれぞれの工程にしたがって送信側端末(11)と受信側端末(12)の両方として作動していることを特徴とする無線通信システム。
