滅殺して食品の衛生状態を高めることができる食品ラッ
プ布に関する。

【従来の技術】紀元数世紀のころから、銀製品に抗菌効
果があることは知られており、銀器などの食器として使
用されてきた。このようなイオン交換可能な金属の抗菌
作用を利用して、生活環境をより清潔にするため、従来
から、様々な抗菌製品が発明されている。このような発
明の例として、特開平6−297629号公報に記載の
抗菌クロスが挙げられる。
【0003】この抗菌クロスは、銅イオン等を含有する
無機抗菌剤をウレタン発泡樹脂に混入させて吸水性を高
めた内層体と、銅などの極細金属糸を絡ませた綿糸を横
糸とし、レーヨン糸を縦糸とする布状の外層体とから構
成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかし、上記した抗菌
クロスには次に掲げるような問題点があった。
【0005】まず、極細金属糸を使用しているため、抗
菌クロスが重くて硬くなるという問題点があった。ま
た、極細金属糸が切断され易いので、洗濯をして繰り返
して使用することができず、切断された金属糸により、
使用者が怪我をしやすいという問題点もあった。
【0006】上記極細金属糸は、織物の縦糸として組み
込むと、切れたり、縦糸の整経と織りが難しくなった
り、金属のもつ硬さにより布地自体が硬くなるといった
弊害が生じやすいので、横糸としてしか使用できなかっ
たものである。しかしながら、横糸として使用した場合
でも、高速製織に耐えられないため生産性が低く、表面
が極細金属糸で覆われてしまうので、セルロース系繊維
糸がもつ吸水性が犠牲になり、防臭性が損なわれるとい
う問題点もあった。
【0007】さらに、抗菌性クロスが抗菌効果を発揮す
るためには、一定時間抗菌クロスを対象物に接触し続け
る必要があるにもかかわらず、上記した公報において
は、抗菌クロスで食品を包むための使用について何ら考
慮されていない。かかる抗菌クロスを使用すれば、瞬時
に効果が現れるような主張がなされているが、抗菌効果
を得たい部位に一定時間抗菌クロスを接触し続けなけれ
ば効果が得られないことは試験データより明らかである
し、抗菌クロスが接触した部位より拭い取った水分若し
くは埃などに抗菌効果を得ても何ら意義がなく、意味を
持たなかったものである。
【0008】そこで、この発明は、抗菌・滅菌効果を充
分に発揮するとともに、抗菌クロスとして、軽くて柔ら
かく、繰り返し使用が可能な実用性をも発揮しうる食品
ラップ布を提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明にかかる食品ラ
ップ布は、セルロース系繊維糸と、抗菌性金属を合成樹
脂フィルムに蒸着して細長く切断して形成した抗菌糸を
セルロース系繊維糸と撚って形成した撚糸とを組合わせ
て縦糸とし、セルロース系繊維糸を横糸としてなる布地
を素材として構成されている。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、図面に基づいてこの発明の
実施の形態を説明する。
【0011】図1は、この発明にかかる食品ラップ布1
の外観を示す図であり、食品ラップ布1は、その縦糸に
抗菌糸21とセルロース系繊維糸22とを撚った撚糸2
を含んでいることを特徴とする。
【0012】抗菌糸21は、合成樹脂フィルムに抗菌性
金属をイオン蒸着法などにより蒸着し、幅0.1〜1.
0ミリに切断して製造されたものである。ここで、抗菌
性金属とは、銀、銅、亜鉛等のイオン交換可能な抗菌性
を有する金属である。この中でも、錆が発生しにくいの
で、銀の使用が最適である。また、前記合成樹脂フィル
ムとは、ポリエステル、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン
等から作られた厚さ約10〜100ミクロンのフィルム
である。
【0013】撚糸2は、この抗菌糸21とセルロース系
繊維糸22とを、図2に示すように1本対1本づつ撚っ
て製造される。ここで、セルロース系繊維糸22は、
綿、麻等の天然繊維や、レーヨン、アセテート、キュプ
ラ、繊維素繊維(指定外)等の再生繊維系人造繊維から
なる糸であり、その太さが5番手から100番手のもの
である。なお、後述するセルロース系繊維糸3及び4
は、このセルロース系繊維糸22と同様のものである。
【0014】この撚糸2は、図3に示すように、セルロ
ース系繊維糸3の間に等間隔になるように、縦糸として
整経される。撚糸2とセルロース系繊維糸3の比率は、
布の幅1インチあたり、撚糸2は1〜10本、セルロー
ス系繊維糸3は40〜100本程度であり、両方合わせ
て110本程度である。
【0015】整経された縦糸は、図4に示すように、自
動織機等により横糸としてセルロース系繊維糸4を布の
幅1インチあたり約40〜80本づつ織り込まれ、図5
に示すような平織の原料布地11として製造される。原
料布地11は、平織の織物以外にも、消費者の好みに応
じて、綾織、朱子織、搦み織により製造された織物、ま
たは、トリコット、ラッシエル、ミラニーズ、横編、丸
編等により製造された編物、さらには、カールマイヤー
法等により製造された編織物として製造される。
【0016】この原料布地11を、ハンカチ、風呂敷、
タオルのようなサイズに裁断し、その裁断面を縫製する
ことにより、食品ラップ布1として製造される。
【0017】このようにして製造された食品ラップ布1
で食品を直接覆ことにより、セルロース系繊維糸22、
セルロース系繊維糸3及び4の部分が、食品表面の水分
を吸収して乾燥を促すので、微生物の生育を抑制して防
臭効果が生じる。また、食品と直接接している抗菌糸2
1の抗菌性金属の部分が、そこから発せられるイオンの
電位差によって抗菌・滅菌効果を発揮するので、食品の
品質維持に貢献することができる。また、抗菌糸21
は、微細金属糸とは違って、柔らかく、軽くて、切れ難
いため、洗濯等により繰り返し利用でき、もし切れたと
しても利用者を傷つけることはない。また、食品ラップ
布1は、抗菌糸21を縦糸ととして使用しているため、
高い生産性を備えている。

【実施例】
(1)抗菌糸及び撚糸の製造 厚さ30ミクロンのポリエステルフィルム(東洋紡績株
式会社製)に銀イオンをイオン蒸着法により蒸着し、
0.5ミリ幅に細長く切断して抗菌糸を製造した。ま
た、この抗菌糸を30番手レーヨン糸に1mあたり30
0回巻き付けて撚り、撚糸を製造した。
【0019】(2)食品ラップ布の製造 (1)で製造した撚糸と30番手レーヨン糸を、それぞ
れ布の幅1インチあたり7本と43本となるように、5
mm間隔で整経して自動織機の縦糸とした。
【0020】20番手の繊維素繊維(指定外)の糸(都
築紡績株式会社製、商品名テンセル(登録商標))を、
布の幅1インチあたり50本となるように、自動織機に
より横糸として織り込ませ、織物を製造した。
【0021】(3)抗菌力試験 抗菌力試験は、繊維製品衛生加工協議会の加工効果評価
試験方法(菌数測定法)を準用して、社団法人大阪食品
衛生協会食品検査センターにより行われた。ただし、こ
の出願にかかる食品ラップ布の実験試料として、(2)
で製造した織物から切り出した0.4g(約9cm2
の抗菌クロスを使用し、試験菌液の最終希釈には1/2
0濃度の普通ブイヨンを使用した。また、実験対照とし
て40番手の綿糸100%からなるガーゼ0.4gを使
用した。なお、供試菌として以下の菌株を使用した。

li O157:H7(大腸菌O157、大阪府立公衆
衛生研究所分与株)
【0023】上記評価試験法に基づいて計数された接種
直後及び35℃、18時間培養後の残存菌数を表1に示
す。

【0025】表1からも明らかなように、同数の供試菌
を接種し、35℃で18時間培養した後の残存菌数を比
較すると、抗菌クロスの残存菌数は、実験対照である綿
100%ガーゼの残存菌数の約105 分の1であり、充
分な抗菌効果が認められた。

【発明の効果】上記の説明から明らかなように、この発
明にかかる食品ラップ布は、縦糸にセルロース系繊維糸
と抗菌性金属を合成樹脂フィルムに蒸着し細長く切断し
てなる抗菌糸とを撚って形成した撚糸を使用しているの
で、食品を直接覆った場合には、食品と接している抗菌
性金属の部位及びその周辺部において、抗菌・滅菌効果
を発揮する。また、縦糸と横糸にセルロース系繊維糸を
使用しているので、食品表面の水分を吸収して乾燥を促
し、微生物の生育を抑制して防臭効果を発揮する。さら
に、撚糸は、極細金属糸とは異なり、軽量かつ、強度と
柔軟性を備えているので、これらを縦糸に使用すること
により、食品ラップ布としての実用性が発揮できるよう
になった。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 セルロース系繊維糸と、抗菌性金属を合
    成樹脂フィルムに蒸着して細長く切断して形成した抗菌
    糸をセルロース系繊維糸と撚って形成した撚糸とを組み
    合わせて縦糸とし、セルロース系繊維糸を横糸としてな
    る布地を素材として構成された食品ラップ布。
  2. 【請求項2】 撚糸とセルロース系繊維糸との比率は、
    布の幅1インチあたり、撚糸が1〜10本、セルロース
    系繊維糸が40〜100本である請求項1記載の食品ラ
    ップ布。
  3. 【請求項3】 抗菌性金属を合成樹脂フィルムに蒸着し
    細長く切断してなる抗菌糸をセルロース系繊維糸と撚っ
    て形成した撚糸を使用した食品ラップ布。
  4. 【請求項4】 抗菌性金属は銀である請求項1〜3のい
    ずれかに記載の食品ラップ布。
