银制品具有抗菌效果一事,远在数世纪前,即为人所知,且应用在银制食器方面。利用可离子交换之此种金属之抗菌作用使生活环境更为清洁,前此已有人发明各种之抗菌制品。其中之一例为公开于日本特开平6-297629号公报之抗菌布。
此抗菌布是由将含有铜离子等无机抗菌剂混掺于聚氨酯泡沫树脂(urethan foam resin)中而改进其吸水性之内层体及以缠络有铜等极细金属丝之棉纱作为纬纱(weft)以人造丝纱作为经纱(warp)编织之布状外层体所构成。
但,上述抗菌布有下列问题。
因使用极细金属丝,故抗菌布较重且会变硬,同时极细金属丝易断裂,不能反覆洗涤使用,且断裂之金属丝有易使使用者受伤之问题。
又,将上述之极细金属丝作为织物之经纱纤入时,易发生断裂、及经纱之整经(warping)及编织作业较困难,且由于金属本身之硬度,使编制之织物本身变为较硬等缺点。因此,该金属丝只能当作纬纱使用。但,即使当作纬纱使用,亦有无法适于高速编织机、生产性低、编织之织物表面因由极细金属丝被覆以致牺牲纤维素纤维纱所具有之吸水性而降低防臭性能等各种问题。
又,为了在使用时发挥抗菌布之抗菌效果,需使抗菌布与对象物(被包装物)保持接触一定之时间,但在上述公报中,并无考虑以此抗菌布包裹食品之使用上之问题。在该公告中虽宣称使用其抗菌布可立即显现效果,但由试验数据显示,除非使抗菌布以一定时间连续接触于欲获得抗菌效果之部位,否则无法达到所期效果,而且抗菌布对从其接触的部位吸收的水分或尘埃等发挥抗菌效果,是属无意义之举。
有鉴于上述现有技术之不足及存在问题,本发明提供一种既可充分发挥抗菌、灭菌效果且又能反覆多次使用之质轻而柔软之食品包裹用抗菌布。
此种食品包裹用布是以纤维素纤维纱及在合成树脂薄膜表面蒸镀有抗菌性金属,经切断成细长状之抗菌丝与纤维素系纤维丝捻线形成之合股纱作为经纱,及以纤维素系纤维纱丝作为纬纱,编织所成之布作为原料构成的。
兹根据附图说明本发明之实施形态于下:
图1为本发明之食品包裹用布1之外观示意图。此食品包裹用布1之特征为其经纱使用由抗菌丝21及纤维素系纤维丝22捻成(twisting)之合股纱(twist yarn)2。
上述之抗菌丝21为在合成树脂薄膜表面藉离子蒸镀法蒸镀抗菌性金属后切断成宽0.1-1.0mm而形成者。在此,所谓抗菌性金属是指选自银、铜、锌等可离子交换而具抗菌性之金属。其中由不易生锈之观点言,银是最为适合之金属。又,上述合成树脂薄膜则指由聚酯、聚乙烯及聚丙烯等制取之厚约10-100μm的薄膜。
合股纱2是如图2所示之由抗菌丝21及纤维素系纤维丝22一条对一条捻合而成的。在此纤维素系纤维丝22是指棉、麻等天然纤维,或人造丝(rayon)、醋酯纤维、铜氨丝(cupra)及纤维素纤维等再生纤维系人造纤维构成之纱,且其粗细度为5-100号(yarn count 5-100)者。又,后述之纤维素系纤维纱3及4是与此纤维素系纤维纱22相同。
合肌纱2,如图3所示,是等间隔的配置于纤维素系纤维纱3之间作为经纱整经。合股纱2及纤维素系纤维丝3之比率为布宽每1时,合股纱2为1-10条,纤维素系纤维纱3为40-100条左右,两者合计约110条。
对整经后之经纱,如图4所示,利用自动织机等以布宽每1英寸织入约40-80条之纤维素系纤维纱4作为纬纱织成如图5所示之平织布匹11。此布匹11除平织布之外,亦可视消费者之需求例如依斜纹编织法、缎纹编织法等织成之织物或依经编针织(tricot)、拉舍尔(raschel)、米兰尼斯经编(milanese)、纬编及圆编等编织法织成之织物。
将此布匹11裁断成例如手巾、大手帕及毛巾等适宜大小后将其裁断面缝制即可制得食品包裹用布1。
利用此食品包裹用布1直接包食品时,由于其纤维素素系纤维纱22、纤维素系纤维纱3及4之部分可吸收食品表面之水分、促进干燥,故能抑制微生物之繁殖,发挥防臭效果。又,由于与食品直接接触之抗菌丝21之抗菌性金属部分可因该部分发生之离子之电位差而发挥抗菌、灭菌效果,故能有效的保持食品之品质及鲜度。甚且,抗菌丝21不同于习用之微细金属线,具有柔软性、轻质、不易断裂及可经洗涤等而供反覆使用,即使断裂亦不致伤及使用者等优点。此外,食品包裹用布1是以抗菌丝21作为经纱使用,故适合高速编织,具较高生产性。
实施例
(1)抗菌丝及合股纱之制造
利用离子蒸镀法,于厚度30μm之聚酯薄膜(东洋纺织公司制)表面蒸镀银离子,然后将该蒸镀后之薄膜切断成0.5mm宽之细长条状作为抗菌丝21。继之,将此抗菌丝以每1m300卷之密度捻绕于粗细度30号之人造丝22上制取合股纱2。
(2)食品用包裹布之制造
将上述(1)制得之合股纱及粗细度30号之人造丝对布匹之宽幅每1英寸以5mm间隔分别配置7条及43条,整经作为自动织机之经纱。
继之利用自动织机以粗细度30号之纤维素纤维作为纬纱,对布匹宽幅每1英寸以50条之密度织入上述整经后之经纱中,以制得织物。
(3)抗菌性试验
抗菌性试验是委托社团法人大阪食品卫生协会食品检查中心,依纤维制品卫生加工协议会之加工效果评价试验方法(菌数测定法)实行。
试片为由上述(2)制得之织物切出之0.4克(约9cm2)抗菌布。试验菌液之最终稀释使用1/20浓度之普通肉汤培养基(bouillon)。试验之对照品为使用粗细度40号之棉纱100%编成之纱布0.4克。试验所用之菌为如下之菌株(大阪府公众卫生研究所提供):
埃希氏大肠杆菌(Escherichia coli)O157:H7
根据上述评价试验法计数刚接种后及在35℃培养18小时后之残存菌数,结果如表1所示:

由比较上表试验数据可知,接种同数目之试验菌,在35℃经过18小时之培养后残存之菌数,依本发明之抗菌布为5.4×102个,对照品为7.4×107,即本发明之残存菌数相当于对照品之约1/105,显示具有极优异之抗菌效果。
如上所示结果可知,由于本发明之食品包裹用布之经纱使用由纤维素系纤维丝及蒸镀有抗菌性金属之合成树脂薄膜切制而得之抗菌丝捻然所成之合股纱,因此以其直接包覆食品时,可在与食品接触之抗菌性金属之部位或其周边部发挥优异之抗菌、灭菌效果。同时,由于经纱及纬纱使用纤维素纤维丝,因此可确实吸收食品表面之水份,促进干燥,从而抑制微生物之繁殖,发挥防臭效果。此外,由于合股纱不同于极细金属线,具有轻质、柔软性及强度等良好特性,因此作为经纱使用可发挥食品包裹布之实用性。

Claims (1)

1.一种食品包裹用布,其特征在于系由:
以纤维素系纤维丝及蒸镀有抗菌金属之合成树脂薄膜切制而得之抗菌丝捻线所得之合股炒作为经纱,
及以纤维素系纤维丝作为纬纱编织成的布匹为材料构成的。
