Description
収納する切妻屋根形の液体用紙容器の製箱、充填工程に
おいて、仮折りした液体用紙容器の頂部や底部を熱圧着
して密封するために、表面の熱可塑性樹脂層を均一に溶
かすための液体用紙容器の加熱装置に関するものであ
る。
器を構成する熱可塑性樹脂層を積層した紙積層材料につ
いては、例えば表面側から、熱可塑性樹脂層であるポリ
エチレン層(30μm)と紙材料層(310g/m2 )
とポリエチレン層(25μm)とアルミニウム箔(9μ
m)とポリエステルフィルム(12μm)と熱可塑性樹
脂であるポリエチレン層(60μm)とを、適宜に積層
した紙積層材料などが、広く用いられている。この液体
用紙容器のアルミニウム箔については、果汁や清酒など
の充填物が空気中の酸素や充填物の香気成分などを遮断
する、ガスバリアー層として積層したものである。
した紙積層材料製の切妻屋根形などの液体用紙容器の製
箱、充填工程において、仮折りした液体用紙容器の開口
部の内側全周の密封する部分の熱圧着を容易にするため
に、この密封する部分の近傍に移動して位置させる加熱
装置に備えた加熱オーブンにより熱風を吹きつけて、表
面の熱可塑性樹脂層を溶かし、密封する部分を合わせ接
合する作業が行われている。ここで、前記液体用紙容器
の熱可塑性樹脂層を溶かすには、図3(a)に示すよう
な、加熱装置10の加熱オーブン11を液体用紙容器2
0の仮折りされた頂部又は底部にあてがって、加熱オー
ブン11から熱風を前記紙容器の密封される部分21,
21に向かって吹き付けることによって行われる。すな
わち、図3(b)に示すように、加熱オーブン11は液
体用紙容器20の頂部又は底部の端部である、密封する
部分21,21を内外から囲むような、センターオーブ
ン11Aとサイドオーブン11B,11Bの構造となっ
ている。また、図3(c)に示すように、液体用紙容器
の内面に熱風を吹きつける加熱オーブン11のセンタオ
ーブン11Aの全周(オーブンのコーナー部15を含
む)の前記密封する部分21,21に臨む面には、1.
0〜2.0mmφ程度の多数の熱風吹き出し用孔b,b
…が、横に複数段にわたり千鳥模様状或いは並列され
て、しかも同ピッチで貫設されている。

箔を使用した場合は(酸化ケイ素や酸化マグネシウム等
を蒸着し、バリアー層とする場合もある)熱伝導性がよ
いので密封する部分以外にも熱がゆきわたり、紙に含ま
れる水分が蒸発し、この蒸気の逃げ場がなくなりバリア
ー層25或いは熱可塑性樹脂層26から発泡(膨らみ)
31などが発生し、従って、前記密封する部分21,2
1に熱圧着不良が生じて液体用紙容器の液漏れなどの原
因になっていた。さらに、発泡が大きく発生すると加熱
オーブン11と接触し、バリアー層25であるアルミニ
ウム箔が破壊される恐れがあった。
たもので、その目的とするところは、熱風の吹きつけを
密封する部分に多くなるようにして熱溶融不良箇所やピ
ンホールを防ぎ、かつ、過度の発泡を抑えるようにした
液体用紙容器の加熱装置を提供することにある。
に本発明の液体用紙容器の加熱装置は、図1、図2に示
すように、表面に熱可塑性樹脂層を積層した紙積層材料
製からなる、切妻屋根形などの液体用紙容器の仮折りさ
れた頂部や底部などを熱圧着して密封する部分21,2
1に、熱風を吹き付けて表面の熱可塑性樹脂層を溶かす
加熱装置の、前記熱可塑性樹脂層を溶かす頂部や底部に
臨ませて配置され、液体用紙容器の内外面に熱風を吹き
付けるセンターオーブン11Aとサイドオーブン11
B,11Bからなる加熱オーブン11と、前記加熱オー
ブン11のセンターオーブン11A全周に、複数段にわ
たりそれぞれ異なる位置に多数の貫設された熱風吹き出
し用孔b,b…とを設けた液体用紙容器20の加熱装置
10において、前記センターオーブン11Aの上部より
1段目又は2段目迄の熱風吹き出し用孔b,b…が、他
段の孔数より多く設けられていることを特徴とする。

説明する。図1及び図2に示すように、本発明の液体用
紙容器20の加熱装置10は、該紙容器の内面の熱可塑
性樹脂層26を溶かす頂部や底部に臨ませて配置され、
液体用紙容器20の内外面から熱風を吹きつけるセンタ
ーオーブン11Aとサイドオーブン11B,11Bとか
らなる加熱オーブン11と、前記加熱オーブン11のセ
ンターオーブン11Aの周囲に、複数段にわたりそれぞ
れ異なる位置に多数の貫設された熱風吹き出し用孔b,
b…とを設け、前記センターオーブン11Aの上部より
1段目又は2段目迄の熱風吹き出し用孔b,b…が、他
段の孔数より多く設けられている。すなわち、液体用紙
容器20の内面に熱風を吹きつけるセンターオーブン1
1Aの、上部より1段目又は2段目迄に貫設された熱風
吹き出し用孔b,b…の貫設ピッチが、他段の貫設ピッ
チの2分の1にして設けたものである。さらに、前記セ
ンターオーブン11Aの1段目又は2段目迄の熱風吹き
出し用孔b,b…の径が、他段の孔径より大きくしたも
のである。
図2に示すように、加熱オーブン11のセンターオーブ
ン11Aの全周に貫設された熱風吹き出し用孔b,b…
を、センターオーブン上方より1段目又は2段目迄の孔
数を他段の孔数より多くする、及び/又は孔の径を大き
くする(図示はしない)ことで、熱を必要とする液体用
紙容器の密封する部分21,21に集中的に吹きつけら
れるので、この部分が先に加熱され、内面の熱可塑性樹
脂層26が十分に溶かされると共に、この部分の発泡が
始まり、密封する部分21,21の上端面に空気や蒸気
の逃げ道ができるので、下方の膨張した空気や蒸気も上
端面から放出され、発泡を小さく抑えることが可能とな
る。
図1は、液体用紙容器の密封する部分の加熱装置に於け
る加熱オーブンの底面図である。また、図2は、加熱オ
ーブンのセンターオーブンに設けた熱風吹き出し用孔の
配列を示すもので、(a)は、1段目の貫設ピッチを他
段の貫設ピッチの半分にした説明図で、(b)は、2段
目迄の貫設ピッチを他段の貫設ピッチの半分にした説明
図である。図3は、加熱装置の概略を示すもので、
(a)は、加熱装置の部分説明図であり、(b)は、加
熱オーブンを側面から見た説明図で、(c)は、センタ
ーオーブンに設けられた熱風吹き出し用孔を側面から見
た説明図である。図4は、従来の液体用紙容器の加熱装
置における、熱風を吹きつけられた表面の熱可塑性樹脂
層の状態を示す部分断面図である。
体は、図示しないが支持基板と熱風供給部とガイドシリ
ンダーとエアーシリンダーを介して上昇、下降するよう
に取りつけられた外筒体が設けられており、この外筒体
の下部に加熱オーブン11が取りつけられている。そし
て図3(a)に示すように、この加熱オーブン11が下
降した時に、仮折りして注出口栓を取りつけ側面と底面
とを熱圧着して密封した液体用紙容器20の熱圧着して
密封する部分21,21の近傍に位置するような構造に
なっている。
1は、図1の底面図に示すように、センターオーブン1
1Aと両側にサイドオーブン11B,11Bの構造で、
液体用紙容器20の密封する部分21,21が適宜の間
隔を保って位置できるようになっている。また、12は
装置本体からの熱風供給口であり、小さい矢印は熱風吹
き出し用孔からの熱風の吹きつけ方向を示したものであ
る。すなわち、仮折りした液体用紙容器20の熱圧着し
て密封する部分21,21の変形6面体の側面の形状に
合わせて、この密封する部分21,21の内面側の熱可
塑性樹脂層26を溶かす、側面が変形6面体のセンター
オーブン11Aと、この密封する部分21,21の左右
の外面側の熱可塑性樹脂層22を溶かす、側面が5面体
のサイドオーブン11B,11Bとから構成されてい
る。このセンターオーブン11Aの下部の、前記密封す
る部分21,21の内面側に臨む6面の全周と、サイド
オーブン11B,11Bの下部の、前記密封する部分2
1,21の左右の外面側に臨む凸状の2面に、多数の熱
風吹き出し用孔を設けたもので、この孔から熱風を吹き
出すことにより密封する部分の熱可塑性樹脂層を溶かし
熱圧着して液体用紙容器を形成する。
ターオーブン11Aに、従来に比べ多数の熱風吹き出し
用孔を設けたもので、図2(a),(b)は、(図1の
センターオーブンのT−T側面からみた一例を示す)実
施例における熱風吹き出し用孔b,b…の配列を示した
ものである。すなわち、図2(a)は、加熱オーブン1
1におけるセンターオーブン11Aの上方り1段目の熱
風吹き出し用孔b,b…の貫設ピッチを、他段の貫設ピ
ッチの2分の1の間隔にして孔数を他段の2倍にしたも
のである。また、図2(b)は、上方より2段目迄の熱
風吹き出し用孔b,b…の貫設ピッチを2分の1の間隔
にして孔数を増やしたものである。また、図示はしない
が、この増やした1段目又は2段目迄の孔の径を、他段
の孔の径より大きくすることも可能であり、密封する部
分に該当する部分の熱風量が増加して熱可塑性樹脂層を
速く溶かすことができる。
用いて、表面側から熱可塑性樹脂層であるポリエチレン
層(30μm)と紙材料層(310g/m2 )とポリエ
チレン層(25μm)とポリエステルフィルム(12μ
m)とアルミニウム箔(9μm)とポリエステルフィル
ム(12μm)と熱可塑性樹脂層であるポリエチレン層
(60μm)とを、切妻屋根形の液体用紙容器(20)
の熱圧着して密封する部分21,21に前述した熱風吹
き出し用孔b,b…から、360℃で80mmAqの熱
風を1秒間吹きつけて、内面側の熱可塑性樹脂層を溶か
したところ、この樹脂層はほぼ均一に熱溶融し、熱溶融
不良箇所やピンホールが発生せず、また、発泡もごく僅
かの発生に抑えることができ、さらに密封する部分以外
には発泡は認められなかった。従って、液体用紙容器は
熱圧着不良による液漏れなどが起こらなかった。
ブンの全周に貫設された熱風吹き出し用孔を、オーブン
上方より1段目又は2段目迄の孔数を他段の孔数より多
くすることで、熱風が必要とする紙容器の密封する部分
に集中的に吹きつけられ、かつ全体的に熱がかかるの
で、この部分が先に加熱され、内面の熱可塑性樹脂層が
十分に溶かされるので、熱溶融不良やピンホールが発生
しない。また、この部分の発泡が先に始まり、密封する
部分の上端面に空気や蒸気の逃げ道ができるので、下方
の膨張した空気や蒸気も上端面から放出されるので、発
泡を小さく抑えることができると共に、密封する部分以
外には発泡が発生しない。

Claims (3)
- 【請求項1】表面に熱可塑性樹脂層を積層した紙積層材
料製からなる、切妻屋根形などの液体用紙容器の仮折り
された頂部や底部などを熱圧着して密封する部分に、熱
風を吹き付けて表面の熱可塑性樹脂層を溶かす加熱装置
の、前記熱可塑性樹脂層を溶かす頂部や底部に臨ませて
配置され、液体用紙容器の内外面に熱風を吹き付けるセ
ンターオーブンとサイドオーブンからなる加熱オーブン
と、前記加熱オーブンのセンターオーブン全周に、複数
段にわたりそれぞれ異なる位置に多数の貫設された熱風
吹き出し用孔とを設けた液体用紙容器の加熱装置におい
て、前記センターオーブンの上部より1段目又は2段目
迄の熱風吹き出し用孔が、他段の孔数より多く設けられ
ているこを特徴とする液体用紙容器の加熱装置。 - 【請求項2】前記センターオーブンの上部より1段目又
は2段目迄に貫設された熱風吹き出し用孔の貫設ピッチ
が、他段の貫設ピッチの2分の1にしたことを特徴とす
る請求項1に記載の液体用紙容器の加熱装置。 - 【請求項3】前記センターオーブンの上部より1段目又
は2段目迄の熱風吹き出し用孔の径が、他段の孔径より
大きくしたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記
載の液体用紙容器の加熱装置。
