Description
【発明の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 本発明は、例えばプラスチック又は紙等で形成した芯
材の片面にアルミニウム箔と熱可塑性樹脂を順次重ねて
構成した筒状容器と容器開口端に嵌合する蓋材を高周波
誘導加熱により溶着する筒状容器の高周波溶着装置に関
するものである。

[従来の技術] 従来の此種装置としては第3図に示すように、筒状容
器Aの開口端に凹状をした蓋材Bを嵌合する。一方、筒
状容器Aの外周に高周波誘導加熱用コイルCを組込んだ
絶縁材治具Dの内側にテーパー状治具Eを設け、このテ
ーパー状治具Eを蓋材Bに押込んで加熱溶着している。

[発明が解決しようとする課題] 前記従来の装置にあっては、溶着時に溶着部分に一定
の加圧力が必要なためで、加圧力が弱いと充分な溶着効
果が得られにい。

又、溶着面に加わる力の作用は蓋材の凹状部寸法のわ
ずかなバラツキに影響されるため、凹状部寸法精度を厳

更に、蓋材の凹状部の深さ寸法が数mm〜十数mmと小さ
いため蓋材の寸法バラツキによって溶着強度が一定せ
ず、溶着不良が発生するという欠点をもっていた。

そこで、本発明はこれらの欠点を解決するために蓋材
凹状部の寸法バラツキが大きくても、常に溶着面に対し
て一定の加圧力が加わり、一定の溶着強度が得られる筒
状容器の高周波溶着装置を提供するのが目的である。

[課題を解決するための手段] 本発明は前記目的を達成するために、芯材の片面に金
属箔と熱可塑性樹脂を順次重ねて形成した筒状容器の開
放端に、同材料で形成した凹状の蓋材を嵌入して高周波
溶着する装置において、高周波加熱コイルを筒状容器の
溶着部外周に配置し、溶着時に蓋材の凹状部内部におい
て外周方向へ移動して加圧する外周を垂直面で形成した
数個に分割された溶着用加圧治具を、蓋材の内側に位置
させた筒状容器の高周波溶着装置を提供するものであ
る。

る。
[作用] 本発明においては筒状容器の開放端に凹状の蓋材を嵌
合し、これを高周波加熱コイルの内側に位置させ、溶着
用加圧治具を蓋材の内側に位置させ、溶着用加圧治具を
外周側に移動させて蓋材を加圧し、筒状容器に密着さ
せ、高周波加熱コイルに高周波電流を流し、誘導加熱で
熱可塑性樹脂を溶かして溶着させる。

[実施例] 本発明の実施例を第1,2図に基いて詳細に説明する
と、1は円筒状の容器(以下筒状容器という)で、プラ
スチック又は紙等の芯材で形成した筒の内周にアルミニ
ウム箔等の金属箔と熱可塑性樹脂を順次重ねて構成して
いる。2は蓋材で凹状に形成し、その外周に筒状容器に
嵌合する嵌合溝部3を設け、全体をプラスチック又は紙
等の芯材で形成し、その容器側にアルミニウム箔等の金
属箔と熱可塑性樹脂を順次重ねて構成している。

棒14を嵌入できるようになっている。

本実施例は前記のように構成したもので、まずピスト
ン棒14を上方に位置させると、溶着用加圧治具7はコイ
ルバネ10の作用により中心方向へ縮む。このときの溶着
用加圧治具7の外径寸法は蓋材2の凹状部の内側寸法よ
り若干小さくなっている。

この状態で蓋材2を装着した筒状容器1を絶縁材治具
4内に挿入すると、第1図に示すように、蓋材2が溶着
用加圧治具7の外側に位置してセットされる。この後、

し、溶着用加圧治具7中心のテーパー状の加圧用孔11を
外側へ広げる。このため溶着用加圧治具7の外周部が蓋
材2の内周部に当って加圧を行う。この状態を維持しな
がら高周波加熱コイル6に高周波電流を流す。このとき
筒状容器1および蓋材2のアルミニウム箔部分が高周波
誘導加熱により発熱し、アルミニウム箔にコーティング
された熱可塑性樹脂が溶融する。ピストン棒14は加圧状
態を維持しているので溶融した熱可塑性樹脂は互いに交
り合い筒状容器1と蓋材2は溶着される。

溶着用加圧治具7は絶縁材及び導電材のどちらを用い
てもよく、溶着時の冷却効果を上げるためには水冷また

[発明の効果] 本発明においては、溶着用加圧治具の外周寸法が蓋材
凹状部の寸法より小さくすることができるので、蓋材の
寸法精度を厳しくチェックすることなく溶着することが
可能となり、蓋材の生産歩留りを向上することができ
る。

また、溶着用加圧治具は外周側に径を拡げることがで
きるので、蓋材に多少のバラツキがあっても、容易に溶
着強度を設定することができ、かつ溶着不良をなくし、
確実、安定的に溶着を行うことができるなどの利点があ

Claims (1)
- 【請求項1】芯材の片面に金属箔と熱可塑性樹脂を順次
重ねて形成した筒状容器の開放端に、同材料で形成した
凹状の蓋材を嵌入して高周波溶着する装置において、高
周波加熱コイルを筒状容器の溶着部外周に配置し、溶着
時に蓋材の凹状部内部において外周方向へ移動して加圧
する外周を垂直面で形成した数個に分割された溶着用加
圧治具を、蓋材の内側に位置させたことを特徴とする筒
状容器の高周波溶着装置。
