Claims (20)
- 電気化学セルを形成する方法であって、前記セルが、作動中に相当量のガスを生成しない方法であって、
ハウジングを設けるステップと、
第一の電極を前記ハウジング内に設けるステップと、
前記第一の電極に接触させて、および前記ハウジング内に固体電解質を設けるステップと、
前記ハウジング内の周囲ガスを移動させるように、前記ハウジングに第一のガスを供給するステップであって、前記ガスが電極ではないステップと、
前記ハウジングを密封するステップと、
前記第一のガスの影響下で、電圧および電流のうちの一つ以上を前記電気化学セルに印加するステップと、
前記印加するステップの後に、前記ハウジング内に存在するガスの少なくとも90質量%を取り除くステップと、

- 前記第一の電極は第一の電流コレクタを備え、第二の電極は第二の電流コレクタを備え、前記第一および第二の電流コレクタのうちの一つ以上は、モリブデン、チタン、ジルコニウムおよびこれらの組合せから成る群から選択された少なくとも一つの材料を有する合金を含む、請求項14に記載の電気化学セル。
- 液体電解質が実質的にない、請求項14に記載の電気化学セル。
- 固体電気化学セルまたはその一部を形成する方法であって、
基板を設けるステップと、
ポリマー材料および固体電解質材料を含む溶液を生成するステップと、
前記溶液を前記基板上にエレクトロスプレーするステップと、
独立した固体電解質を形成するステップであって、前記独立した固体電解質が、前記固体電解質材料の少なくとも70wt%を含むステップと、
前記独立した固体電解質を含むセル構成要素を圧縮するステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記圧縮するステップは、100MPaよりも低いスタック圧力においてである、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記独立した固体電解質は、前記固体電解質材料の少なくとも90wt%を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 第一のガスを供給して、前記電解質の表面に、ならびに、前記第一の電極および第二の電極のうちの一つ以上の上に固体層を形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
