代替的にまたは追加的に、スリーブはコイルに溶接され得る。
代替的にまたは追加的に、縫合装置は、縫合カテーテルおよび制御ワイヤに動作可能に結合されたユーザインタフェースをさらに備えることができ、ユーザインタフェースは、使用者が、制御ワイヤと、したがって遠位シャトルとを、縫合カテーテルに対して相対的に移動させることを可能にするように構成されている。

Claims (15)
- 作業チャネルおよび遠位端部を有する内視鏡と組み合わせて使用するための縫合装置において、
縫合糸を担持するように構成された針であって、前記針は遠位端部と前記遠位端部の近傍に遠位戻り止めとを備える、前記針と、
前記針の遠位端部上に解放可能に嵌合するように構成された針キャップと、
前記針を解放可能に固定するように構成された遠位シャトルと、
前記遠位シャトルに被せて配置可能なスリーブとを備え、前記スリーブは、前記針が前記遠位シャトルに固定されるロック位置と前記針が前記遠位シャトルから解放可能であるロック解除位置との間で移動可能である、縫合装置。 - 前記針キャップは、前記針および非外傷性遠位先端部の上に嵌合するように構成された空洞を画定する円筒状針キャップ本体を備える、請求項1に記載の縫合装置。
- 前記針キャップは、前記円筒状針キャップ本体内において軸線方向に延びる1つ以上の細長スロットをさらに備える、請求項2に記載の縫合装置。
- 前記空洞内に延びる1つ以上の凸状突出部をさらに備え、前記1つ以上の凸状突出部は前記針の遠位戻り止め内に嵌合するように構成されている、請求項2または3に記載の縫合装置。
- 送達システムを通って延びるルーメンを含む送達システムと組み合わせて使用するのための縫合装置において、
前記送達システムのルーメン内で軸線方向に平行移動可能であるように構成された縫合糸平行移動アセンブリであって、前記送達システムは遠位端部を備え、前記縫合糸平行移動アセンブリは、
縫合糸を担持するために使用可能な針と、
前記針を解放可能に固定するように構成された遠位シャトルと、
前記遠位シャトルに被せて配置可能なスリーブとを備え、前記遠位シャトルは、前記スリーブに対して相対的に、前記針が前記遠位シャトルにロックされるロック位置と前記針が前記遠位シャトルから解放可能であるロック解除位置との間で移動可能である、縫合糸平行移動アセンブリと、
前記スリーブに動作可能に結合された縫合カテーテルと、
前記遠位シャトルに動作可能に結合された制御ワイヤと、
前記送達システムの遠位端部に固定可能であるように構成された遠位エンドキャップとを備え、前記遠位エンドキャップは、前記針と解放可能に係合および係合解除するように構成されており、前記エンドキャップは、前記針が前記エンドキャップ内に遠位方向に進められたときには前記針と係合し、かつ前記針が前記遠位シャトルにロックされて前記遠位シャトルが近位方向に引き込まれたときには前記針を解放するように構成されている、縫合装置。 - 前記制御ワイヤを近位方向に移動させることで、前記遠位シャトルを前記スリーブに対して相対的に近位方向に移動させ、それにより前記針を前記遠位シャトルにロックし、
前記制御ワイヤを遠位方向に移動させることで、前記遠位シャトルを前記スリーブに対して相対的に遠位方向に移動させ、それにより前記遠位シャトルから前記針を解放する、請求項5に記載の縫合装置。 - 前記針は遠位領域および近位領域を備え、前記遠位領域は、前記遠位エンドキャップに解放可能に係合するための遠位戻り止めを含み、前記近位領域は、前記遠位シャトルに解放可能に係合するための近位戻り止めを含む、請求項5または6に記載の縫合装置。
- 前記遠位シャトルは、
前記針が前記遠位シャトルに固定されるときに前記近位戻り止めと整合するように配置された1つ以上のベアリングボール開口と、
前記1つ以上のベアリングボール開口内に配置された1つ以上のベアリングボールであって、前記針が前記遠位シャトルに固定されるときに前記近位戻り止め内に配置可能である1つ以上のベアリングボールとを備える、請求項5~7のいずれか1項に記載の縫合装置。 - 前記スリーブは、前記1つ以上のベアリングボールよりも直径が小さい1つ以上のスリーブ開口を備え、
前記ロック位置にあるときには、前記1つ以上のベアリングボールが前記針の近位戻り止めに係合するように、前記1つ以上のスリーブ開口は前記1つ以上のベアリングボール開口と位置がずれており、
前記ロック解除位置にあるときには、前記1つ以上のベアリングボールが前記針の近位戻り止めから退去することを可能にするのに十分な距離だけ前記1つ以上のベアリングボールが半径方向外側に移動できるように、前記1つ以上のスリーブ開口は前記1つ以上のベアリングボール開口と整合される、請求項8に記載の縫合装置。 - 前記制御ワイヤに動作可能に結合されるヨークをさらに備え、前記ヨークは、前記ヨークを通って延びるピンによって前記制御ワイヤを前記遠位シャトルに結合し、前記ピンは前記スリーブ内に形成された一対のスロットに沿って平行移動する、請求項8または9に記載の縫合装置。
- 前記縫合カテーテルはコイルを含み、前記コイルは前記スリーブに動作可能に結合される、請求項8~10のいずれか1項に記載の縫合装置。
- 前記制御ワイヤは前記縫合カテーテルを通って延在する、請求項9~11のいずれか1項に記載の縫合装置。
- 前記縫合カテーテルおよび前記制御ワイヤに動作可能に結合されたユーザインタフェースをさらに備え、前記ユーザインタフェースは、使用者が、前記制御ワイヤと、したがって前記遠位シャトルとを、前記縫合カテーテルに対して相対的に移動させることを可能にするように構成されている、請求項8~12のいずれか1項に記載の縫合装置。
- 送達システムを通って延びるルーメンを含む送達システムと組み合わせて使用するのための縫合装置において、
縫合糸を担持するために使用可能な針と、
前記針を解放可能に固定するように構成された遠位シャトルと、
前記遠位シャトルに被せて配置可能なスリーブであり、前記遠位シャトルは、前記スリーブに対して相対的に、前記針が前記遠位シャトルにロックされるロック位置と前記針が前記遠位シャトルから解放可能であるロック解除位置との間で移動可能である、スリーブと、
前記スリーブに動作可能に結合されたシャフトと、
前記シャフトを通って延在し、前記遠位シャトルに動作可能に結合された制御ワイヤと、
前記送達システムの遠位端部に固定可能であるように構成された遠位エンドキャップとを備え、前記遠位エンドキャップは、前記針と解放可能に係合および係合解除するように構成されており、前記エンドキャップは、前記針が前記エンドキャップ内に遠位方向に進められたときには前記針と係合し、かつ前記針が前記遠位シャトルにロックされて前記遠位シャトルが近位方向に引き込まれたときには前記針を解放するように構成されている、縫合装置。 - 前記遠位シャトルをそのロック位置とそのロック解除位置との間で移動させるために、使用者が前記制御ワイヤを前記シャフトに対して相対的に操作することを可能にするように構成されたユーザインタフェースをさらに備える、請求項14記載の縫合装置。
