前記チューブと前記1つ又は複数のマンドレルとの周囲の前記モールド・アセンブリを圧縮するステップと、
前記モールド・アセンブリを第1の期間だけ加熱するステップと、
前記モールド・アセンブリを第2の期間だけ冷却するステップと、
前記モールド・アセンブリの圧縮を解除するステップと、
前記ルーメン・ライナを前記モールド・アセンブリから取り外すステップと、
前記マンドレルを前記ルーメン・ライナから除去するステップと、を備える、方法。

前記ルーメン・ライナは、第1の材料を備え、
前記細長の医療装置は、第2の材料を備え、
前記第1の材料は、前記第2の材料とは異なる、細長の医療装置。 - 前記ピーナッツ形状は、対称である、請求項1に記載の細長の医療装置。
