Claims (7)
- 両端に向けて縮径し、1.5mg/cc以上の水銀が封入される発光管と、
前記発光管内で同軸的に対向配置される陰極および陽極とを備え、
ランプ電流が130A以上であって、
前記陽極の先端側に形成された縮径部の電極軸に沿った先端位置が、前記発光管の最大径位置よりも陰極側にあり、
前記発光管と前記陰極と前記陽極の電極軸方向断面において、陰極先端中心から電極軸に対する最大傾斜角度で前記縮径部の外郭ラインを通るまたは接する第1のラインと、前記第1のラインと前記発光管の内郭ラインとの交点を接点として前記発光管の内郭ラインと接する第2のラインとを引いたとき、前記第1のラインと前記第2のラインとの挟角θが、60°以上であることを特徴とする放電ランプ。 - 前記挟角θが、65°以上75°以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の放電ランプ。
- 前記陽極の縮径部が、先端面を含む先端側縮径部と、前記先端側縮径部とは径変化の度合いが異なる後端側縮径部とを有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の放電ランプ。
- 前記後端側縮径部の径変化の度合いが、前記先端側縮径部と比べて大きいことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の放電ランプ。
- 前記後端側縮径部が、断面円弧状の曲面部を含むことを特徴とする請求項3または4に記載の放電ランプ。
- 前記縮径部が、前記先端側縮径部と前記後端側縮径部とを繋ぐ環状の平坦面を有することを特徴とする請求項3乃至5のいずれかに記載の放電ランプ。
- 前記後端側縮径部の電極軸方向長さが、前記先端側縮径部の電極軸方向長さより長いことを特徴とする請求項3乃至6のいずれかに記載の放電ランプ。
