- 発射チャンバ、ダイヤフラム、およびプランジャは、あらかじめ製薬の流体で満たされたカートリッジの部品であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の鼻腔内流体送達デバイス。
- アクチュエーターはスプリングに接続され、および、スプリングは押し棒に接続されることを特徴とする、請求項1または2のいずれか1つに記載の鼻腔内流体送達デバイス。
- ロック機構はロック材料から作られる1つ以上のタブを含み、および、ロック機構はロック材料を破断することにより解放されることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の鼻腔内流体送達デバイス。
- ロック機構が1つ以上の旋回可能なタブを含み、および、ロック機構がタブの旋回により解放されることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の鼻腔内流体送達デバイス。
- それ自体の対向する側面上に1対の折り畳み可能なアームを有する外側シャーシを含む、請求項1から5のいずれか1つに記載の鼻腔内流体送達デバイス。
- 投薬先端はカニューレを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか1つに記載の鼻腔内流体送達デバイス。
- 投薬先端はアトマイザーを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか1つに記載の鼻腔内流体送達デバイス。
- アクチュエーターを押すことは、ダイヤフラムを通して針を発射チャンバの中へ押し進め、その後、ロック機構を解放して押し棒がプランジャを押すことを可能にすることを特徴とする、請求項1から8のいずれか1つに記載の鼻腔内流体送達デバイス。
- 流体が投薬先端を出る時に、その流体の制御された速度プロファイルを生じるように、ダンプニング(dampening)機構をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から9のいずれか1つに記載の鼻腔内流体送達デバイス。
- ダンプニング機構は、マグネット、スプリング、粘性ダンプナー、気流制限がある密封されたチャンバ、圧縮ガスの容器、バルブ、モーター、エラストマーのチャンバ、流動制限デバイス、およびプランジャと発射チャンバの構成、の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする、請求項10の鼻腔内流体送達デバイス。
- 正確に投与を位置付け、およびユーザーに快適さを提供するために、柔軟な、または可撓性の柔らかい尖端を有する、請求項1から11のいずれか1つに記載の鼻腔内流体送達デバイス。
- 鼻の容積に流体を送達するための装置であって:
a.投薬開口部を備えた第1の末端と作動する開口部を備えた第2の末端があるハウジング;
b.投薬開口部に結合された投薬先端;
c.作動開口部と投薬開口部の間にあるハウジング内にあるカプセルであって、該カプセルが、ダイヤフラムとプランジャの間で流体が事前充填されるチューブを含む、カプセル;および、
d.作動開口部に結合されたアクチュエーターであって、プランジャとの接点へと移動可能であって、およびロック機構によって留置された、押し棒と、プランジャに向かって押し棒を推進させるスプリングとを含む、前記アクチュエーター、
を含む、鼻の容積に流体を送達するための装置。 - 投薬先端から吐出された流体の流動をダンプニングするための手段をさらに含む、請求項13に記載の、鼻の容積に流体を送達するための装置。

- 標的を決めて鼻腔内へ流体を送達するための方法であって、
鼻腔の中へ柔軟な投薬先端を挿入する工程;および、
鼻腔の中の標的とされる領域に層流の液体のボーラスを送達するために、柔軟な投薬先端から流体を吐出する工程、
を含む、方法。 - 標的とされる領域が鼻腔の嗅部であることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 鼻腔の中へ柔軟な投薬先端を挿入する工程が、少なくとも鼻孔上部の中への柔軟な投薬先端を挿入することを含むことを特徴とする、請求項17または18に記載の方法。
- 鼻腔の中へ柔軟な投薬先端を挿入する工程が、柔軟な投薬先端の端を嗅部に隣接する領域に位置決めする工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 柔軟な投薬先端がカニューレを含むことを特徴とする、請求項17から20のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
- 流体を吐出する工程が、流体におけるずり応力を制限するために、制御された速度プロファイルで流体を吐出する工程を含む、請求項17から21のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
