電気泳動材料の層と、
半導電材料と、
前記半導電材料にスタックされた圧電材料と
を備え、
前記圧電材料および前記半導電材料は、前記電気泳動材料に隣接して位置付けられている、電気光学ディスプレイ。 - 前記圧電材料および前記電気泳動材料と重複している第1の導電層をさらに備えている、請求項3に記載の電気光学ディスプレイ。
- 前記第2の導電層と前記圧電材料および前記電気泳動材料との間の半導電材料の第2の層をさらに備えている、請求項4に記載の電気光学ディスプレイ。
- 前記半導電材料および前記電気泳動材料と重複している第2の導電層をさらに備えている、請求項1に記載の電気光学ディスプレイ。
- 電気光学ディスプレイであって、前記電気光学ディスプレイは、
電気泳動材料の層と、
圧電材料の第1の層と、
圧電材料の第2の層と
を備え、
前記圧電材料の第1の層と第2の層とは、横並びに位置付けられ、前記電気泳動材料の層と重複し、前記圧電材料の第1の層と第2の層とは、反対の分極方向を有する、電気光学ディスプレイ。 - ディスプレイを生産する方法であって、前記方法は、
第1の部分および第2の部分を有する電気泳動ディスプレイ材料の層を生産することであって、前記第1の部分は、複数のマイクロセルを有し、前記第2の部分は、実質的に平坦である、ことと、
圧電材料を提供することと、
前記圧電材料が前記第2の部分と実質的に重複するように、前記圧電材料を前記電気泳動ディスプレイ材料の前記第2の部分と整列させることと
を含む、方法。 - 前記電気泳動材料の前記第1および第2の部分は、単一のフォトリソグラフィステップを使用して生産される、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記電気泳動ディスプレイ材料および前記圧電材料を基板上に設置することをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記基板は、可撓性である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 導電性電極を前記基板上に提供することをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 障壁層を前記導電性電極と前記基板との間に提供することをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記電気泳動ディスプレイの層を生産するステップの後、剥離ライナの層を提供することをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記剥離ライナは、前記複数のマイクロセルのそれと実質的に同様の高さを有する、請求項14に記載の方法。
