Abstract
【解決手段】発光装置は、コリメート光源10と、平坦面20Aおよび凸曲面20Bを有し、コリメート光源10から出射されたコリメート光Pを収束して収束ビームQを形成する平凸レンズ20と、収束ビームQで照射される光学部材30と、平凸レンズ20を収容する筐体40とを備える。筐体40は、光学部材30を支持する蓋部分42であって、収束ビームQを通過させる貫通孔44を有する蓋部分42を有しており、蓋部分42は、平凸レンズ20の前記平坦面の少なくとも一部に接している。

図11Aは、本開示の実施形態2における発光装置300の構成例を模式的に示す断面図である。図11Bは、発光装置300の構成要素の一部を分離した状態で示す断面図である。
図12は、本開示の実施形態3における発光装置400の構成例を模式的に示す断面図である。発光装置400の基本的な構成は、前述した発光装置200の構成と同様である。異なる点は、光学部材30の構成にある。発光装置400における光学部材30は、光ファイバ38Aと、フェルール38Bと、筒状金属連結部38Cとを含む光ファイバパッケージ38を有している。光ファイバ38Aの光入射端面(光入射面30A)には、平凸レンズ20から収束ビームが入射される。
Claims (12)
- コリメート光源と、
平坦面および凸曲面を有し、前記コリメート光源から出射されたコリメート光を収束して収束ビームを形成する平凸レンズと、
前記収束ビームで照射される光学部材と、
前記平凸レンズを収容する筐体と、
を備え、
前記筐体は、前記光学部材を支持する蓋部分であって、前記収束ビームを通過させる貫通孔を有する蓋部分を有しており、
前記蓋部分は、前記平凸レンズの前記平坦面の少なくとも一部に接している、発光装置。 - 前記筐体の前記蓋部分は、前記光学部材が設けられた外側表面と、前記平凸レンズの前記平坦面の少なくとも一部に接している内側表面とを有し、前記外側表面から前記内側表面までの厚さによって前記光学部材から前記平凸レンズの前記平坦面までの距離が規定されている、請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記蓋部分の前記貫通孔は、前記外側表面における開口面積が前記内側表面における開口面積よりも小さい形状を有している、請求項2に記載の発光装置。
- 前記平凸レンズの前記平坦面は、接着層によって前記蓋部分の前記内側表面に固着されている、請求項2または3に記載の発光装置。
- 前記筐体は、前記平凸レンズの周囲を囲む側壁部分を有し、
前記平凸レンズの周縁は接着層によって前記側壁部分に固着されている、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の発光装置。 - 前記筐体は、前記平凸レンズの周囲を囲む側壁部分を有し、
前記側壁部分は、前記平凸レンズの前記凸曲面側の少なくとも一部に接する突出部を有している、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の発光装置。 - 前記平凸レンズは、前記蓋部分と前記側壁部分の前記突出部とによって固定されている、請求項6に記載の発光装置。
- 前記コリメート光源は、
半導体発光素子と、
前記半導体発光素子から出射された光をコリメートするコリメートレンズと、
を有している、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の発光装置。 - 前記半導体発光素子は、レーザダイオードである、請求項8に記載の発光装置。
- 前記コリメート光源は、
複数の半導体発光素子が配列された基板と、
前記複数の半導体発光素子から出射された光をコリメートするレンズアレイと、
を有する、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の発光装置。 - 前記コリメート光源は、前記コリメート光として、互いに平行な複数のコリメートビームを出射する、請求項10に記載の発光装置。
- 前記光学部材は、蛍光体を含む光透過領域と、前記光透過領域の周囲を囲む光反射領域とを有している、請求項1から11のいずれかに記載の発光装置。
