Abstract
Description
・一般にテルペンアルデヒドまたはテルペンケトン、特にメンソン/イソメントン混合物の良好な収率が得られる。
・キラル中心にラセミ化がない。
・溶剤を使用および除去の必要がない。
・触媒の除去の必要がない。
・減圧下での操作が不要。
・使用される触媒は、副産物の生成が比較的低い温度での操作を可能にする。
・気相での活性金属の製品への浸出が発生しない。
・香水産業に適した品質が得られる。つまり、反応製品に嗅覚的に好ましくない副産物が含まれない。
(a)テルペンアルコールまたはテルペンアルコール含有反応物を提供する工程;
(b)工程(a)の出発物質を不均一ルテニウム触媒と接触させる工程;
(c)酸素の存在下で、工程(b)の混合物を少なくとも150℃に加熱する工程;そして任意に
(d)得られた反応混合物からテルペンアルデヒドまたはテルペンケトンを分離する工程。
(i)不均一触媒の体積に基づくガス流の流量(ガス毎時空間速度GHSV)は、約100時間−1から約5000時間−1、好ましくは約200時間−1から約1000時間−1である。および/または
(ii)反応器に入るガス流中のテルペンアルコールの濃度は、約1mol%から約15mol%、好ましくは約3mol%から約10mol%である。

?[a]:Ru/C、
?[b]:0.2%Ru/CeO2、
?[c]:0.2-1.0/1.2/1.6%RuMnCe/CeO2、

Claims (15)
- 対応するテルペンアルコールの酸化的脱水素化によりテルペンアルデヒドおよびテルペンケトンを製造する方法であって、
(a)テルペンアルコールまたはテルペンアルコール含有反応物を提供する工程と、
(b)工程(a)の出発物質を不均一ルテニウム触媒と接触させる工程と、
(c)酸素の存在下で、ステップ(b)の混合物を少なくとも150℃に加熱する工程と、任意的に
(d)得られた反応混合物からテルペンアルデヒドまたはテルペンケトンを分離する工程と、
を有する方法。 - メントールがテルペンアルコールとして使用される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 他の金属酸化物を含む不均一ルテニウム触媒が使用される請求項1および/または2に記載の方法。
- 酸化セリウム、酸化銅、酸化鉄、酸化マンガン、酸化コバルト、酸化モリブデン、酸化銀およびそれらの混合物を含む群から選択される金属酸化物が使用される請求項3に記載の方法。
- 金属酸化物が、CeO2、CuO、Cu2O、Fe2O3、Fe3O4、MnO、MnO2、Mn2O3、Mn3O4、Co3O4、CoO、MoO3、AgO、Ag2Oおよびそれらの混合物を含む群から選択される、請求項3または請求項4に記載の方法。 。
- 触媒活性種が担体材料に適用される不均一ルテニウム触媒が使用される、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 触媒的に活性である担体材料が使用される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 酸化物担体材料が使用される、請求項6または請求項7に記載の方法。
- 酸化セリウム、酸化アルミニウム、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化チタン、酸化ケイ素、シリカ、酸化鉄、酸化マンガン、酸化ニオブ、アルミノケイ酸塩、ハイドロタルサイト、ハイドロキシアパタイトおよびそれらの混合物を含む群から選択される担体材料が使用される、請求項6から請求項8の少なくとも1つに記載の方法。
- 活性炭が担体材料として使用される請求項6に記載の方法。
- 不均一ルテニウム触媒が使用され、前記担体材料上のルテニウムの濃度が約0.1〜約10重量%、好ましくは約0.5から約5重量%である、請求項1から請求項10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 反応が、150〜約350℃の範囲、好ましくは約180〜約320℃の範囲、特に約250〜約300℃の範囲の温度で行われる、請求項1から請求項11の少なくとも1つに記載の方法。
- 反応が、ガス流が連続的に流れる反応器内で行われ、前記ガス流が、前記反応器に入る際に、少なくとも1つのテルペンアルコールと酸素と、任意的に不活性ガスとを含む、請求項1から請求項12の少なくとも1つに記載の方法。
- 酸素含有ガスが、20℃および1013.25hPaで測定される、前記酸素含有ガスの総体積に基づいて少なくとも0.1体積%の酸素を含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- (i)不均一触媒の体積に基づくガス流の流量(ガス毎時空間速度GHSV)は、約100h−1から約5000h−1であり、好ましくは約200h−1から約1000h−1および/または
(ii)前記反応器に入るガス流中のテルペンアルコールの濃度は、約1mol%〜約15mol%、好ましくは約3mol%〜約10mol%である、請求項13に記載の方法。
