Claims (21)
- 固形重量分率(SWF)で0.25%〜5%の範囲の量で存在する少なくとも1つの形態のアタパルジャイトと、
固形重量分率(SWF)で17%〜50%の範囲の量で存在するカオリンと、
固形重量分率(SWF)で0%〜25%の範囲の量で存在するボールクレイと、を含む組成物。 - 前記少なくとも1つの形態のアタパルジャイトは、0.5%〜4.0%の範囲のSWFの量で存在する請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1つの形態のアタパルジャイトは、スメクタイト中の少ないアタパルジャイトから選択される請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1つの形態のアタパルジャイトは、精製したアタパルジャイトおよび乾燥処理したアタパルジャイトから選択される請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1つの形態のアタパルジャイトは、アタパルジャイトのスラリーまたは未処理の粗製アタパルジャイトから選択される請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記カオリンは、35%〜45%の範囲のSWFの量で存在する請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物中の全固形重量(w/w%)の量は、60%〜90%の範囲である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- SWFで0.25%〜4%の範囲の量で存在する、少なくとも1つの第2の形態のアタパルジャイトをさらに含む請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1つの形態のアタパルジャイトは精製したアタパルジャイトから選択され、前記少なくとも1つの第2の形態のアタパルジャイトは乾燥処理したアタパルジャイト、未処理の粗製アタパルジャイトまたはアタパルジャイトのスラリーから選択される、請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物は、水性スラリー、懸濁液、パグ、ペースト、ケーク、粉末、顆粒、ペレットおよび小粒から選択される形態である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物は、60%〜74%の範囲の全固形重量(w/w%)の量を有する水性懸濁液から選択される形態を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物は、70%〜90%の範囲の全固形重量(w/w%)の量を有するパグ、ケークおよびペーストから選択される形態を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物は、85%〜100%の範囲の全固形重量(w/w%)の量を有する粉末、顆粒、ペレットおよび小粒から選択される形態を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 少なくとも1つの形態のアタパルジャイトと、カオリンと、任意でボールクレイと、を混合する工程を含む組成物の製造方法であって、前記組成物は、
固形重量分率(SWF)で0.25%〜5%の範囲の量で存在する少なくとも1つの形態のアタパルジャイトと、
固形重量分率(SWF)で17%〜50%の範囲の量で存在するカオリンと、
固形重量分率(SWF)で0%〜25%の範囲の量で存在するボールクレイと、を含む製造方法。 - 混合物を製造するように、液体と、少なくとも1つの形態のアタパルジャイトと、カオリンと、任意でボールクレイと、を混合する工程を含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記液体は水を含む請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物はスラリーまたは懸濁液を形成するように攪拌され、前記組成物は水性スラリーまたは懸濁液の形態である、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記液体は少なくとも1つの有機液体をさらに含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物はスラリーまたは懸濁液を形成するように攪拌され、前記組成物はスラリーまたは懸濁液の形態である、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの形態のアタパルジャイトと、カオリンと、任意でボールクレイと、を混合して、第1の組成物を形成する混合工程であって、前記第1の組成物は、
固形重量分率(SWF)で0.25%〜5%の範囲の量で存在する少なくとも1つの形態のアタパルジャイトと、
固形重量分率(SWF)で17%〜50%の範囲の量で存在するカオリンと、
固形重量分率(SWF)で0%〜25%の範囲の量で存在するボールクレイと、を含む、混合工程と、
前記組成物を、所定形状を有する湿潤セラミック片に形成する工程と、
乾燥セラミック片を形成するために前記所定形状を有する湿潤セラミック片を乾燥する工程と、
前記乾燥セラミック片を焼結する工程と、を含むセラミック片の製造方法。 - その後に、焼結されたセラミック片を仕上げる工程をさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
