Abstract
Description
(1)(A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂100質量部と、(B)300℃、剪断速度1000sec−1における溶融粘度が0.20kPa・s以上のポリカーボネート樹脂と、(C)タルク0.5〜3.0質量部と、を含むことを特徴とする、レーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。
(2)(B)ポリカーボネート樹脂/(A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂の質量比で示される割合が0.20/1.00〜0.80/1.00である、(1)に記載のレーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。
(3)1mmの厚さを有する成形品において、980nmの波長の光線透過率が40.0%以上である、(1)または(2)に記載のレーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。
(4)光線透過率のばらつきが5.0%以下である、(3)に記載のレーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。
(5)(1)から(4)のいずれか一項に記載のレーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物からなる成形品と、熱可塑性樹脂からなる他の成形品とをレーザー溶着により接合してなる複合成形品。
(ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂)
ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂(PBT樹脂)は、少なくともテレフタル酸又はそのエステル形成性誘導体(C1−6のアルキルエステルや酸ハロゲン化物等)を含むジカルボン酸成分と、少なくとも炭素原子数4のアルキレングリコール(1,4−ブタンジオール)又はそのエステル形成性誘導体(アセチル化物等)を含むグリコール成分とを重縮合して得られるポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂である。本実施形態において、ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂はホモポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂に限らず、ブチレンテレフタレート単位を60モル%以上含有する共重合体であってもよい。
ポリカーボネート樹脂(PC樹脂)には、ジヒドロキシ化合物と、ホスゲン又はジフェニルカーボネートなどの炭酸エステルとの反応により得られる重合体が挙げられる。ジヒドロキシ化合物は、脂環式ジオールなどの脂環族化合物などであってもよいが、好ましくは芳香族化合物、より好ましくはビスフェノール化合物である。ジヒドロキシ化合物は、単独で又は二種以上組み合わせて使用できる。
本発明におけるタルクとしては、特に限定されないが、タルクの全固形分量に対して、Fe2O3、Al2O3及びCaOの合計含有量が2.5質量%以下であり、Fe2O3及びAl2O3の合計含有量が1.0質量%超2.0質量%以下であり、かつCaOの含有量が0.5質量%未満であるものが好ましい。すなわち、本発明におけるタルクは、その主成分たるSiO2及びMgOの他、Fe2O3、Al2O3及びCaOのうちの少なくとも1種を含んでいてもよく、各成分を上記の範囲で含んでいてもよい。
本発明の実施形態のレーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物には、本発明の効果を阻害しない範囲で、その目的に応じた所望の特性を付与するために、一般に熱可塑性樹脂及び熱硬化性樹脂に添加される公知の物質、例えば、酸化防止剤や紫外線吸収剤等の安定剤、耐加水分解性改善剤(例えば、エポキシ樹脂等)、帯電防止剤、難燃剤、難燃助剤、滴下防止剤、染料や顔料等の着色剤、離型剤、潤滑剤、結晶化促進剤、結晶核剤等を配合することが可能である。
本発明の実施形態の成形品は、本発明のレーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物を成形してなるものである。成形方法は特に限定されず、公知の成形方法を採用することができる。例えば、(1)各成分を混合して、一軸又は二軸の押出機により混練し押出してペレットを調製した後、成形する方法、(2)一旦、組成の異なるペレット(マスターバッチ)を調製し、そのペレットを所定量混合(希釈)して成形に供し、所定の組成の成形品を得る方法、(3)成形機に各成分の1又は2以上を直接仕込む方法などで製造できる。なお、ペレットは、例えば、脆性成分(ガラス系補強材など)を除く成分を溶融混合した後に、脆性成分を混合することにより調製してもよい。また、熱可塑性樹脂からなる他の成形品の成形方法もまた、特に限定されず、公知の成形方法を採用することができる。
以下、実施例により本発明を具体的に説明するが、本発明はその要旨を超えない限り以下の実施例に限定されるものではない。

・(B)ポリカーボネート樹脂
(B−1)300℃、剪断速度1000sec−1における溶融粘度:0.42kPa・sのPC樹脂
(B−2)300℃、剪断速度1000sec−1における溶融粘度:0.27kPa・sのPC樹脂
(B−3)300℃、剪断速度1000sec−1における溶融粘度:0.09kPa・sのPC樹脂
・(C)タルク
林化成(株)製、平均粒径2.6μm
・(D)ガラス繊維

(A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂100質量部に対し、各成分を表1、2に示す割合で混合した後、30mmφの2軸押出機(日本製鋼所製TEX−30)を用いて、シリンダー温度260℃、吐出量15kg/h、スクリュ回転数130rpmで溶融混練して押出し、ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物からなるペレットを得た。次いで、このペレットから射出成形により80mm×80mm×1mmの試験片を作製し、980nmの波長の光線透過率の測定を行った。結果をあわせて表1、2に示す。
80mm×80mm×1mmの試験片を、20mm×20mm×1mmに16分割し、それぞれの中央部について、分光光度計(日本分光(株)製,V570)を用いて、波長980nmでの各種試験片の光線透過率(%)を測定した。

- (A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂100質量部と、
(B)300℃、剪断速度1000sec−1における溶融粘度が0.20kPa・s以上のポリカーボネート樹脂と、
(C)タルク0.5〜3.0質量部と、を含むことを特徴とする、
レーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。 - (B)ポリカーボネート樹脂/(A)ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂の質量比で示される割合が0.20/1.00〜0.80/1.00である、請求項1に記載のレーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。
- 1mmの厚さを有する成形品において、980nmの波長の光線透過率が40.0%以上である、請求項1または2に記載のレーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。
- 光線透過率のばらつきが5.0%以下である、請求項3に記載のレーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のレーザー溶着用ポリブチレンテレフタレート樹脂組成物からなる成形品と、熱可塑性樹脂からなる他の成形品とをレーザー溶着により接合してなる複合成形品。
