Claims (5)
- 帯状の集電箔に幅方向の一方の端部の非塗工部を残して電極活物質塗工部を形成してなる正負の電極板と,前記電極活物質塗工部を全部覆い前記非塗工部の一部に及ぶ幅の帯状のセパレータとを,正負の前記電極板と前記セパレータとがいずれも存在する中央部と,前記中央部の一方側に正の前記非塗工部のみが突出した正極接続部と,前記中央部の他方側に負の前記非塗工部のみが突出した負極接続部とを構成するように捲回してなる電極捲回体を有する電池を製造する電池の製造方法であって,
正負の前記電極板と前記セパレータとを捲回して前記電極捲回体を形成し,
正負の前記電極板および前記セパレータの未捲回部分を,前記セパレータが捲回完了後の前記電極捲回体における最外周となるように切断し,
前記電極捲回体に繋がっている正負の前記電極板および前記セパレータの切断後の未捲回部分を前記電極捲回体にさらに捲回し,
前記セパレータの切断された箇所である末端部の幅方向の一部を前記電極捲回体に固定し,
前記セパレータの前記電極捲回体における最外周部分の幅方向両端部の正または負の前記非塗工部上の箇所に熱溶着を行って前記幅方向両端部を前記電極捲回体に固定する,各工程を行う電池の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の電池の製造方法であって,
前記末端部の幅方向の一部を前記電極捲回体に固定する工程を,前記末端部の上に跨るように接着テープを前記電極捲回体に貼り付けることで行う電池の製造方法。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載の電池の製造方法であって,前記熱溶着を,
先端のフロント面が傾斜面とされているプローブを用いて,
前記フロント面の傾斜により最も出っ張った部位が正負の前記電極活物質塗工部から遠い側を向き,最も凹んだ部位が正負の前記電極活物質塗工部に近い側を向いた状態で,
前記セパレータの融点以上の温度に昇温された前記フロント面を最外周部分の前記セパレータの外面に接触させることで行う電池の製造方法。 - 帯状の集電箔に幅方向の一方の端部の非塗工部を残して電極活物質塗工部を形成してなる正負の電極板と帯状のセパレータとが,正負の前記電極板と前記セパレータとがいずれも存在する中央部と,前記中央部の一方側に正の前記非塗工部のみが突出した正極接続部と,前記中央部の他方側に負の前記非塗工部のみが突出した負極接続部とを構成するように捲回された電極捲回体を有する電池であって,
前記電極捲回体の最外周は前記セパレータであり,
前記セパレータの前記電極捲回体における最外周部分の幅方向両端部の正または負の前記非塗工部上の箇所に,前記電極捲回体に固定されている熱溶着箇所を有する電池。 - 請求項4に記載の電池であって,
前記電極捲回体の最外周における前記セパレータの末端部の幅方向の一部に跨って貼り付けられた接着テープを有する電池。
