紫外光から青色光を発光する第1発光素子と、第1発光素子上に配置され、赤色光を発光する第1蛍光体を含有する第1蛍光体層と、第1蛍光体層上に配置され、赤色光を通過し紫外光から青色光を遮光する第1膜と、を備える赤色光源と、紫外光から青色光を発光する第2発光素子と、第2発光素子上に配置され、緑色光を発光する第2蛍光体を含有する第2蛍光体層と、第2蛍光体層上に配置され、緑色光を通過し紫外光から青色光を遮光する第2膜と、を備える緑色光源と、紫外光から青色光を発光する第3発光素子を備える青色光源と、赤色光源、緑色光源及び青色光源の上方に配置される光拡散部材と、を備える発光モジュール。
光源100は、赤色光源110と、緑色光源120と、青色光源130の3色の光源で構成される。各光源100は、少なくとも1つ以上である。各光源100の数は、目的や用途に応じて適宜変更することができる。図1Bに示す例では、3色の光源100を備えており、左から順に赤色光源110、青色光源130、緑色光源120の順で配置されている。ただし、各光源100の配置はこれに限らない。また、各光源100間の間隔は、図1Bに示すように、等間隔に配置することができる。ただし、これに限らず、異なる間隔で配置してもよい。
赤色光源110は、第1発光素子111と、その上に配置される第1蛍光体層112と、その上に配置される第1膜113と、備える。第1発光素子111は、紫外光から青色光の光を発光する。具体的には、第1発光素子111の主波長は、440nm〜450nmである。第1発光素子111は、第1積層構造体111aと、第1電極111bと、を備える。詳細には、第1積層構造体111aの同一面側に正負一対となる2つの第1電極111bを備えている。尚、主波長が紫外光である発光素子を紫外発光素子、主波長が青色光である発光素子を紫外発光素子とも称する。
緑色光源120は、第2発光素子121と、その上に配置される第2蛍光体層122と、その上に配置される第2膜123と、を備える。第2発光素子121(第2積層構造体121a及び第2電極121b)は、第1発光素子111と同様に紫外光〜青色光を出射可能であり、第1発光素子111と同様の構成を適用することができるため、詳細は省略する。第2発光素子121は、第1発光素子111と同じ波長の発光素子を用いることができる。例えば、第1発光素子111が青色発光素子であり、第2発光素子が青色発光素子であってもよい。あるいは、第1発光素子111が青色発光素子であり、第2発光素子121が紫外発光素子であってもよい。また、第1発光素子111が紫外発光素子であり、第2発光素子121が青色発光素子であってもよい。
青色光源130は、第3発光素子131を備える。第3発光素子131(第3積層構造体131a及び第3電極131b)は、第1発光素子111と同様の構成を適応することができるため、詳細は省略する。
光拡散部材200は、赤色光源110、緑色光源120、及び青色光源130を含む光源100の上方に配置される。各光源100の発光面と光拡散部材200との間には、空気層がある。換言すると、各光源100の発光面と光拡散部材200とは離間して配置されている。
発光モジュール10は、図1Bに示すように、配線基板300、側壁部材400、保持部材500等を備えることができる。

Claims (7)
- 紫外光から青色光を発光する第1発光素子と、前記第1発光素子上に配置され、赤色光を発光する第1蛍光体を含有する第1蛍光体層と、前記第1蛍光体層上に配置され、赤色光を通過し紫外光から青色光を遮光する第1膜と、を備える赤色光源と、
紫外光から青色光を発光する第2発光素子と、前記第2発光素子上に配置され、緑色光を発光する第2蛍光体を含有する第2蛍光体層と、前記第2蛍光体層上に配置され、緑色光を通過し紫外光から青色光を遮光する第2膜と、を備える緑色光源と、
紫外光から青色光を発光する第3発光素子を備える青色光源と、
前記赤色光源、前記緑色光源、及び前記青色光源の上方に配置される光拡散部材と、
を備える発光モジュール。 - 前記第1発光素子、前記第2発光素子、前記第3発光素子の少なくとも1つは、青色発光素子である、請求項1記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記第1発光素子、前記第2発光素子、前記第3発光素子の少なくとも1つは、紫外発光素子である、請求項1記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記第1発光素子、前記第2発光素子、前記第3発光素子は、青色発光素子である、請求項1記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記第1膜又は前記第2膜は、誘電体多層膜である、請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記青色光源は、前記第1発光素子として青色発光素子を備え、前記青色光源から出射される光は前記青色発光素子から出射される光と同じである、請求項1記載の発光モジュール。
- 前記青色光源は、前記第1発光素子として紫外発光素子を備え、前記紫外発光素子からの紫外光の少なくとも一部を吸収して青色光を発光可能な第3蛍光体を備える、請求項1記載の発光モジュール。
