Claims (10)
- 複数のブロックを含む印刷回路基板;
前記複数のブロック上に配置される複数のMJT LEDを含むバックライトモジュール;
前記複数のMJT LEDと電気的に接続された複数のFET;及び
前記複数のFETのオン及びオフを制御するFET制御部を含み、
前記MJT LEDは、
成長基板上に互いに離隔して位置し、それぞれ下部半導体層、前記下部半導体層上に位置する上部半導体層、及び前記下部半導体層と前記下部半導体層との間に位置する活性層を含む第1発光セル及び第2発光セル;
前記第1発光セル上に位置し、前記第1発光セルに電気的に接続された第1透明電極層;
前記第1発光セルを第2発光セルに電気的に接続する配線;及び
前記配線を第1発光セルの側面から離隔させる絶縁層;を含み、
前記配線は、前記第1発光セルに電気的に接続するための第1接続部、及び前記第2発光セルに電気的に接続するための第2接続部を有し、
前記下部半導体層の一面は前記下部半導体層を露出させる露出領域を含み、
前記第1接続部は第1透明電極層に接触し、
前記第2接続部は、前記露出領域を介して前記第2発光セルの前記下部半導体層と電気的に接続し、
前記複数のMJT LEDのそれぞれの動作は独立的に制御され、
前記FET制御部は前記複数のFETを全て含み、
前記複数のFETの個数は前記複数のMJT LEDの個数と同一であり、
前記各MJT LEDを覆う光学部材を含み、
前記各ブロックの長軸がaで、短軸がbであるとき、前記各光学部材を介して放出される光の半値幅は0.6aより大きいか同じで、
より小さいか同じである、
バックライトユニット。 - 前記第1透明電極層の一部は前記第2発光セルと接続する、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第1透明電極層の一部は、前記第1発光セル上から前記第1発光セルと前記第2発光セルとの間を経て前記第2発光セルの前記下部半導体層の側面上に位置する、請求項2に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第1透明電極層のうち前記第2発光セルの前記下部半導体層の側面上に位置する部分の幅は、前記配線のうち前記第2発光セルの前記下部半導体層の側面上に位置する部分の幅より広い、請求項3に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第1透明電極層のうち前記第1発光セルと前記第2発光セルとの間に位置する部分の幅は、前記配線のうち前記第1発光セルと前記第2発光セルとの間に位置する部分の幅より広い、請求項3に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第1透明電極層は前記配線と前記絶縁層とを互いに離隔させる、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記絶縁層の一部は、前記成長基板のうち前記第1発光セルと前記第2発光セルとの間に位置する部分上に位置する、請求項6に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第1発光セルと第1透明電極層との間に位置し、前記第1透明電極層の一部を前記第1発光セルから離隔させる電流遮断層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記第1透明電極層は、前記第2接続部と前記第2発光セルの前記下部半導体層との間に位置する、請求項2に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記各光学部材を介して放出される光の指向角(θLens)の範囲は、下記の数式の通りである、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
ここで、FWHMLEDは、前記光学部材なしで前記MJT LEDから放出される光の半値幅で、ODは、前記MJT LEDの底面から拡散面までの距離である。
