Description
Claims (15)
- 自動車安全装置用のエアバッグユニット(39)であって、可撓性材料から形成され、巻装および/または折畳梱包体(9)で提供される膨張可能なエアバッグ(1)と、前記梱包体(9)の少なくとも一部の周りに延在するカバー(35)と、を含み、前記カバー(35)は、第1のカバー部分(36)と、第2のカバー部分(37)と、を含み、前記第1のカバー部分(36)は、前記梱包体(9)の第1の側に位置し、前記第2のカバー部分(37)の少なくとも領域(26)は、前記梱包体(9)の反対側の第2の側に位置し、前記エアバッグユニット(39)は、前記第2のカバー部分(37)が実質的に可撓性であり、前記第1のカバー部分(36)に接続されていることまたは前記第1のカバー部分(36)に一体的に形成されていることと、前記第1のカバー部分(36)が所定の安定した形状を有し、前記第2のカバー部分(37)と比較して相対的に剛性であり、延性布材料(10)から形成されていることと、を特徴とする、エアバッグユニット(39)。
- 前記第1のカバー部分(36)は、複数のポリマー繊維(11)を含む延性布材料(10)から形成され、前記繊維(11)の少なくとも一部は、一緒に融着して前記第1のカバー部分(36)に前記所定の安定した形状を付与する、請求項1に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記複数のポリマー繊維(11)は、複数のコア−シース二成分繊維(11b)を含み、前記二成分繊維(11b)のシース(13)は、一緒に融着して前記第1のカバー部分(36)に前記所定の安定した形状を付与する、請求項2に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記二成分繊維(11b)は各々が、第1の融点を有するポリマー材料の内側コア(12)と、前記第1の融点よりも低い第2の融点を有するポリマー材料の外側シース(13)と、を有する、請求項3に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記延性布材料は、不織布材料(10)である、請求項2〜4のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記第1のカバー部分(36)は、前記延性布材料(10)の少なくとも2つの層から形成され、前記層の1つの層からの繊維(11)は、前記層の他方の層からの繊維(11)に融着されている、請求項2〜5のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記第1および第2のカバー部分(36、37)は両方が、前記延性布材料(10)の単一シートのそれぞれ第1および第2の領域によって少なくとも部分的に画定され、前記第1の領域内の前記繊維の少なくとも一部は、一緒に融着されて前記第1のカバー部分(36)に前記所定の安定した形状および相対的剛性を付与し、前記第2のカバー部分(37)は、前記第1のカバー部分(36)と比較して相対的に可撓性であるように、前記第2の領域内の前記繊維の少なくとも大部分は、一緒に融着されていない、請求項2〜6のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記第2のカバー部分(37)の接続領域(25)は、前記第1のカバー部分(36)に接続され、前記エアバッグ梱包体(9)の前記第1の側に位置する、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記第2のカバー部分(37)の前記接続領域(25)は、前記第1のカバー部分(36)内に埋め込まれ、それによって前記2つのカバー部分を相互接続する、請求項8に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記第2のカバー部分(37)の前記接続領域(25)は、前記融着繊維(11)の少なくとも一部がそこを通して延在する少なくとも1つの開口(27)を画定する、請求項2〜6のいずれか1項に従属する、請求項8または9に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記第2のカバー部分(37)の前記接続領域(25)は、前記第1のカバー部分(36)の前記少なくとも2つの層(22、31)の間に配置され、前記層のうちの1つの層の繊維の、他方の前記層の繊維への融着によってそれらの間に保持されている、請求項6に従属する、請求項10に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記第2のカバー部分(37)の一部は、所定の安定した形状を有し、前記一部は、前記第2のカバー部分(37)の残りの部分と比較して相対的に剛性である、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記第2のカバー部分(37)の前記相対的に剛性の一部は、前記繊維(11)の少なくとも一部が一緒に融着されて、第2のカバー部分(37)の前記部分に前記所定の安定した形状を付与する前記第2のカバー部分(37)の領域によって画定される、請求項2〜7のいずれか1項に従属する、請求項12に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記第2のカバー部分(37)の前記一部は、複数のポリマー繊維(11)を含む延性布材料(10)から形成された相対的に剛性の要素(44)によって画定され、前記繊維(11)の少なくとも一部は、一緒に融着されて前記要素(44)に前記所定の安定した形状を付与する、請求項8〜11のいずれか1項に従属する、請求項12に記載のエアバッグユニット。
- 前記相対的に剛性の要素(44)の前記複数のポリマー繊維(11)は、複数のコア−シース二成分繊維(11b)を含み、前記二成分繊維(11b)のシース(13)は、一緒に融着されて第2のカバー部分(37)の前記相対的に剛性の要素(44)に前記所定の安定した形状を付与する、請求項14に記載のエアバッグユニット。
