多孔質構造を有する無機断熱材料と、
揮発温度で揮発するバインダであって、前記バインダは前記多孔質構造内に配置された、バインダと、を備え、前記絶縁体は少なくとも10体積%の前記バインダを含む、絶縁体。 - 前記絶縁体の熱伝導率は前記バインダの揮発後0.05W/m・K未満である、請求項1に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記絶縁体の熱伝導率は、前記バインダの揮発前に0.1W/m・Kを超える、請求項1又は2に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記多孔質構造は500nm未満の平均細孔径を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体。

- 前記無機断熱材料は、互いに接触して配置された断熱ナノ粒子を含み、前記多孔質構造を画定する、請求項83又は84に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記断熱ナノ粒子は100nm未満の平均粒子径を有する、請求項85に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記無機断熱材料はエアロゲル粒子を含む、請求項83に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記無機断熱材料は、シリカ、炭素、ジルコニア、チタニア、及びセラミックから選択される、請求項83〜87のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記無機断熱材料はセラミックナノ粒子を含む、請求項83に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記セラミックナノ粒子は、シリカ、チタニア、アルミナ又はジルコニアを含む、請求項89に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記セラミックナノ粒子は、少なくとも100m2/gの平均BET表面積を有する、請求項89又は90に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記セラミックナノ粒子はヒュームドシリカ又はシリカエアロゲルを含む、請求項89〜91のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記絶縁体は、少なくとも5体積%の前記無機断熱材料を備える、請求項89〜92のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記無機断熱材料と接触する繊維状材料を備える、請求項89〜93のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記繊維状材料は、ガラス繊維、セラミック繊維、及びシリカ繊維から選択される、請求項94に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記繊維状材料はガラス繊維を含む、請求項95に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記炭素質材料は、黒鉛、カーボンブラック、カーボンナノチューブ、及びグラフェンから選択される、請求項82〜96のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記耐熱材料は、シリカ、アルミナ、チタニア、ニッケル、窒化ホウ素、ジルコニア、及びAlF3から選択される、請求項82〜97のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体。
- 耐熱材料でコーティングされた前記乳白剤の酸化温度は800℃を超える、請求項82〜98のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記炭素質材料は5:1を超えるアスペクト比を有する、請求項82〜99のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記炭素質材料は、前記耐熱材料に共有結合している、請求項82〜100のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体。
- 前記乳白剤を40重量%以下備える、請求項82〜101のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体。
- 第1のバッテリセル及び第2のバッテリセルと、
前記第1のバッテリセルと前記第2のバッテリセルの間に配置された、請求項82〜102のいずれか1項に記載の絶縁体と、を備える装置。 - 前記第1と第2のバッテリセルの間に配置された金属層を備える、請求項103に記載の装置。
- 前記第1のバッテリセルと熱接触する第1の絶縁体と、
前記第1のバッテリセルの反対側で前記第1のポリマーコーティングされた絶縁体と熱接触する金属層と、
前記第1の絶縁体の反対側で前記金属層と熱接触する第2のポリマーコーティングされた絶縁体と、
前記金属層の反対側で前記第2の絶縁体と熱接触する前記第2のバッテリセルと、を備える装置。 - 絶縁体の製造方法であって、
バインダを溶媒に溶解して溶液を形成することと、
多孔質絶縁体を前記溶液に暴露し、それによって前記絶縁体の細孔に前記溶液を含浸することと、
前記絶縁体の細孔内の前記バインダを固化させることと、を含む方法。 - 前記バインダを固化させることは、前記絶縁体の細孔内で前記バインダを堆積させることを含む、請求項106に記載の方法。
- 前記バインダを固化させることは、前記絶縁体の細孔内で前記バインダを重合させることを含む、請求項106に記載の方法。
- ポリマーコーティングされた多孔質絶縁体を製造する方法であって、断熱多孔質材料をポリマーコーティングによりコーティングして、ポリマーコーティングされた絶縁体を形成すること、を含む方法。
- 絶縁体の製造方法であって、
バインダを溶媒に溶解してバインダ溶液を形成することと、
多孔質構造を有する無機断熱材料を前記バインダ溶液に暴露して前記無機断熱材料の前記多孔質構造に前記バインダ溶液を含浸し、バインダ含浸材料を形成することと、
基板上に前記バインダ含浸材料を堆積させることと、
前記多孔質構造内で前記バインダを固化させることと、を含む方法。 - 前記多孔質構造内で前記バインダを固化させる前記ステップは、前記バインダ含浸材料を加熱することを含む、請求項110に記載の方法。
- 絶縁体の製造方法であって、
バインダを溶媒に溶解してバインダ溶液を形成することと、
多孔質構造を有する無機断熱材料を前記バインダ溶液に暴露して前記無機断熱材料の前記多孔質構造に前記バインダ溶液を含浸し、バインダ含浸材料を形成することと、
ダイ内に前記バインダ含浸材料を堆積させることと、
前記バインダ含浸材料に圧力を加えて前記多孔質構造内で前記バインダを固化させることと、を含む方法。 - 絶縁体の製造方法であって、
バインダと無機断熱材料を混合して混合物を形成することと、
前記混合物を圧縮して、多孔質構造であって、前記多孔質構造は前記バインダを含浸されている、多孔質構造を有する無機断熱材料を形成することと、を含む方法。 - 前記バインダ含浸無機断熱材料を加熱することを更に含む、請求項113に記載の方法。
- 絶縁体の製造方法であって、
バインダと無機断熱材料を混合して混合物を形成することと、
前記混合物を押し出して、多孔質構造であって、前記多孔質構造は前記バインダを含浸されている、多孔質構造を有する無機断熱材料を形成することと、を含む方法。 - 前記バインダ含浸無機断熱材料を加熱することを更に含む、請求項115に記載の方法。
- ポリマーコーティング絶縁体の製造方法であって、
無機断熱材料の前記表面をコーティング組成物に暴露して、前記無機断熱材料の前記表面上にポリマーコーティングを形成することと、
前記ポリマーコーティングを前記無機断熱材料中に少なくとも平均10ミクロン浸透させることと、
前記ポリマーコーティングを固化させることと、を含む方法。 - 前記コーティング組成物は前記ポリマーコーティングの1つ以上の前駆体を含む、請求項117に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティング組成物は前記ポリマーを含む、請求項117又は118に記載の方法。
- 前記暴露するステップは、前記無機断熱材料の前記表面を前記コーティング組成物でスプレーコーティングすることを含む、請求項117〜119のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記暴露するステップは、前記無機断熱材料の前記表面を前記コーティング組成物で浸漬コーティングすることを含む、請求項117〜119のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
