Claims (4)
- 強化繊維基材が積層されて形成された繊維強化材料から成る繊維強化材料片を製造する製造装置であって、強化繊維基材の積層が行われる積層台と、積層ヘッドを備えると共に該積層ヘッドを前記積層台上の固定の積層領域上に移動させることによって前記強化繊維基材を該積層領域に積層する積層機構と、トリムヘッドを備えると共に該トリムヘッドを前記積層領域上で移動させることによって前記積層機構によって形成された前記繊維強化材料に対しトリミング加工を施すトリム機構とを含み、前記積層機構で前記強化繊維基材を積層して前記繊維強化材料を形成する積層工程と前記トリム機構で前記繊維強化材料を予め定められた形状に裁断するトリム工程とによって前記繊維強化材料片を製造する繊維強化材料片の製造装置において、
前記積層ヘッド及び前記トリムヘッドを支持する支持構造と、該支持構造に対応して設けられると共に前記積層台に沿って移動可能であるように前記支持構造を支持する案内部材と、前記支持構造を前記案内部材上で移動させる駆動機構とを含み、
前記支持構造は、前記積層工程では前記支持構造に支持された状態の前記トリムヘッドを前記積層ヘッドに干渉しないトリムヘッド用の退避位置へ配置可能であると共に、前記トリム工程では前記支持構造に支持された状態の前記積層ヘッドを前記トリムヘッドに干渉しない積層ヘッド用の退避位置に配置可能であるように構成される
ことを特徴とする繊維強化材料片の製造装置。 - 前記支持構造は、前記積層ヘッドを支持する第1の支持部と、前記トリムヘッドを支持する第2の支持部とを含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の繊維強化材料片の製造装置。 - 前記支持構造は、前記第1の支持部を含む第1の構造体と、前記第2の支持部を含む第2の構造体とで構成されており、
前記駆動機構は、前記第1の構造体に対応して設けられると共に前記第1の構造体を前記案内部材上で移動させる第1の駆動部と、前記第2の構造体に対応して設けられると共に前記第2の構造体を前記案内部材上で移動させる第2の駆動部とを含む
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の繊維強化材料片の製造装置。 - 各前記退避位置が、前記案内部材の長手方向において前記積層領域と重複しない位置である領域外退避位置に設定されており、
前記案内部材は、前記領域外退避位置まで延在するように構成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の繊維強化材料片の製造装置。
