Claims (1)
- 繊維強化複合材の製造に用いられる連続した長尺シート状の強化繊維基材であって同じ方向に配向された強化繊維と熱可塑性樹脂とから成ると共に前記強化繊維の配向方向が当該強化繊維基材の長手方向に対し角度を為すように形成された強化繊維基材の製造方法であって、
シート状の強化繊維材料片であって複数本の前記強化繊維が一方向に引き揃えられて熱可塑性樹脂によって集束された強化繊維材料片を、その前記強化繊維の配向方向が前記長手方向に対し角度を為すかたちでテーブル上に敷置する敷置工程であって、前記長手方向と平行な方向であると共に前記テーブル上に位置する前記強化繊維基材を送る方向である送り方向に関し、前記テーブル上に位置する前記強化繊維基材に対する前記送り方向における後方で前記強化繊維材料片を敷置する敷置工程と、
前記敷置工程で敷置された前記強化繊維材料片である後行の前記強化繊維材料片を前記テーブル上に位置する前記強化繊維基材の後側の側縁に対し前記長手方向において付き合わせた状態とした上で、前記強化繊維基材の後側の側縁と前記後行の前記強化繊維材料片の前記強化繊維基材側の側縁とを溶着することで前記後行の前記強化繊維材料片が前記強化繊維基材と一体化された状態とする溶着工程と、
1回又は複数回の前記敷置工程及び前記溶着工程が行われる毎に、前記強化繊維基材が前記送り方向へ送られるように、前記テーブルの前方に設けられた巻取機構により前記強化繊維基材を巻き取る工程とを含む
ことを特徴とする強化繊維基材の製造方法。
