Abstract
同じ方向に配向された強化繊維と熱可塑性樹脂とから成ると共に強化繊維の配向方向が当該強化繊維基材の長手方向に対し角度を為すように形成された強化繊維基材の製造に関し、強化繊維材料の層のみからなる新規な角度層材料としての強化繊維基材の製造方法及び強化繊維材料を提案する。
【解決手段】
その製造方法は、シート状の強化繊維材料であって複数本の前記強化繊維が一方向に引き揃えられて熱可塑性樹脂によって集束された強化繊維材料片を、その強化繊維の配向方向が強化繊維基材の前記長手方向に対し角度を為すかたちでテーブル上に敷置する敷置行程と、先に敷置された強化繊維材料片とそれに続いて敷置された繊維強化材料片とを前記長手方向において付き合わせた状態で、その両繊維強化材料片を互いの隣接側の側縁において溶着して連続したシート状とする溶着工程とを含む、ことを特徴とする。

Description
その溶着機構29は、ねじ軸29cの回転に対するナット29d及びブラケット29eの共周りを阻止すると共にブラケット29e及び溶着器29aの上下方向の移動を案内するガイド(図示略)を備えている。その構成により、溶着機構29は、駆動モータ29bによるねじ軸29cの回転駆動に伴い、その回転方向によってナット29d及びブラケット29eが上方又は下方へ向けて変位し、それに従って溶着器29aが上下方向に変位する構成となっている。

Claims (2)
- 繊維強化複合材の製造に用いられる連続した長尺シート状の強化繊維基材であって同じ方向に配向された強化繊維と熱可塑性樹脂とから成ると共に前記強化繊維の配向方向が当該強化繊維基材の長手方向に対し角度を為すように形成された強化繊維基材の製造方法であって、
シート状の強化繊維材料片であって複数本の前記強化繊維が一方向に引き揃えられて熱可塑性樹脂によって集束された強化繊維材料片を、その前記強化繊維の配向方向が前記強化繊維基材の前記長手方向に対し角度を為すかたちでテーブル上に敷置する敷置工程であって、前記テーブル上における前記長手方向と平行な前記強化繊維基材の送り方向に関し、先に敷置された先行の前記強化繊維材料片に対する後方で前記強化繊維材料片を敷置する敷置工程と、
前記先行の前記強化繊維材料片とその後に敷置された後行の前記繊維強化材料片とを前記長手方向において付き合わせた状態で、前記先行の前記強化繊維材料片と前記後行の前記繊維強化材料片とを互いの隣接側の側縁において溶着して連続したシート状とする溶着工程とを含む
ことを特徴とする強化繊維基材の製造方法。 - 繊維強化複合材の製造に用いられる連続した長尺シート状の強化繊維基材であって、
シート状の強化繊維材料片であって複数本の強化繊維が一方向に引き揃えられて熱可塑性樹脂によって集束された強化繊維材料片が、その前記強化繊維の配向方向を前記強化繊維基材の長手方向と異ならせた状態で前記長手方向に並ぶと共に、前記長手方向において隣接する前記強化繊維材料片同士がその隣接側の側縁において溶着されて一体化されることで、連続したシート状に形成されている
ことを特徴とする強化繊維基材。
