Claims (7)
- タービン及びコンプレッサを含むターボチャージャを備えた内燃機関であって、
前記タービンの出口から前記タービンの径方向外方に延びる排気管と、
前記コンプレッサに設けられ、前記ターボチャージャの流路を制御するためのアクチュエータと、
前記排気管と前記アクチュエータとの間を通って前記ターボチャージャに延びる管とを有することを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 前記管は、前記コンプレッサの外周部に設けられた出口に接続された吸気管であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記排気管は、前記タービンの出口から前記コンプレッサ側に傾斜して延び、前記コンプレッサの下方を通過し、
前記吸気管は、前記コンプレッサの出口から下方に延びる上流部と、前記上流部の下端から前記ターボチャージャの軸線方向において前記タービンと相反する方向に延びた下流部とを有し、
前記アクチュエータは、前記上流部の前記タービンと相反する側かつ前記下流部の上方に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃機関。 - 前記上流部は、前記コンプレッサの外殻をなすコンプレッサハウジングと一体に形成され、その下端に前記タービンと相反する側に開口した接続端を有し、
前記下流部は、前記接続端に接続され、
前記コンプレッサハウジングには、前記アクチュエータを支持する支持部が一体に形成され、
前記接続端は、前記支持部の下方に、前記支持部に対して隙間を介して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内燃機関。 - 前記アクチュエータは、進退する出力軸と、前記出力軸を進退させる駆動部とを有し、
前記駆動部は、前記支持部の前記タービンと相反する側に配置され、
前記出力軸は、前記駆動部から前記タービン側に延びていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関。 - 前記排気管は、前記タービン及び前記コンプレッサの下方において触媒コンバータを有することを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか1つの項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記アクチュエータは、前記タービンに設けられたウエイストゲートバルブを駆動することを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか1つの項に記載の内燃機関。
