前記第2開口の数は、前記第1開口の数より大きい、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記表示パネルは、延出部をさらに備え、
前記第1光学層は、少なくとも前記延出部と重なる領域に設けられている、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記発光素子は、前記延出部と重なっている、請求項4に記載の表示装置。
- 前記導光層の屈折率より低い屈折率を有する第2光学層及び第3光学層をさらに備え、
前記導光層は、前記第1面と反対側の第2面を有し、
前記表示パネルは、前記導光層と対向する面と反対側の第3面を有し、
前記第2光学層は、前記第2面の全体と重なり、
前記第3光学層は、前記第3面の全体と重なっている、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記表示パネルと前記導光層との間に位置する接着層をさらに備え、
前記第1基板は、前記第2基板と前記導光層との間に位置し、
前記接着層は、前記第1基板と前記導光層とに接している、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記表示パネルと前記導光層との間に位置する接着層をさらに備え、
前記第2基板は、前記第1基板と前記導光層との間に位置し、
前記接着層は、前記第2基板と前記導光層とに接している、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 第1基板と、前記第1基板と対向する第2基板と、前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に位置するシールと、前記シールに囲まれた領域内に位置し、ポリマーと液晶分子とを含む高分子分散型液晶層と、を備える表示パネルと、
発光素子と、
前記表示パネルと対向する第1面と、前記発光素子と対向する端部と、を有する導光層と、
前記表示パネルと前記導光層との間で前記第1面に沿って配置され、前記端部から少なくとも前記シールと重なる位置まで延出した第1光学層と、
を備え、
前記第1光学層の屈折率は、前記導光層の屈折率より低い、表示装置。 - 発光素子と、
第1面と、前記発光素子と対向する端部と、前記第1面と反対側の第2面と、を有する導光層と、
前記第1面と対向する面と反対側の第3面と、ポリマーと液晶分子とを含む高分子分散型液晶層と、を備える表示パネルと、
前記第2面の全体と対向する第2光学層と、
前記第3面の全体と対向する第3光学層と、
を備え、
前記第2光学層の屈折率と前記第3光学層の屈折率とは、前記導光層の屈折率より低い、表示装置。
