Claims (6)
- 게이트 라인 및 데이터 라인이 다수개의 화소행을 형성하도록 매트릭스 형태로 형성된 하부기판과; 블랙매트릭스가 형성된 상부기판과; 상기 하부기판 또는 상부기판 내측면에 형성된 구동전극을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치에 있어서,상기 하부기판 외측면에는 광원을 구비한 백라이트 장치가 배치되어 있되 상기 광원은 상기 백라이트 장치의 중앙부에 위치하여 확산판을 통해 상기 하부기판에 빛을 조사하며, 상기 백라이트에 최인접하는 수개의 화소행 화소에 해당하는 블랙매트릭스 크기가 타행 화소에 해당하는 블랙매트릭스 크기보다 크거나, 상기 백라이트에 최인접하는 수개의 화소행 화소에 해당하는 구동전극이 불투명 도전체로 형성되어 있거나, 상기 백라이트에 최인접하는 수개의 화소행 화소는 스토리지 커패시턴스가 큰 구동전극 패턴이거나, 또는 이들의 조합으로 구성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 불투명 도전체는 알루미늄, 티민, 또는 몰리브덴을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 스토리지 커패시턴스가 큰 구동전극 패턴은 화소전극과 게이트 라인이일부 중첩되어 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 스토리지 커패시턴스가 큰 구동전극 패턴은 화소전극과 단위화소내에 별도로 형성된 공통전극으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항 내지 제 4항의 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 백라이트에 최인접하는 수개의 화소행의 수는 1 내지 3인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1항 내지 제 4항의 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 백라이트에 최인접하는 화소행 화소의 개구율은 타행 화소의 개구율의 40 내지 70 %인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치.
