Claims (9)
- 画素を駆動する複数の駆動素子を備えた第1の基板と、
この第1の基板に対して表示側に対向配置される第2の基板と、
前記駆動素子の駆動用の外部信号を伝達する駆動回路が実装された信号伝達部材と、
光源が実装されているとともに、前記第1の基板と前記第2の基板とのいずれか一方に対して法線方向に沿って配置されたプリント基板とを具備し、
前記第1の基板と前記第2の基板とのいずれか一方は、他方に対して外形が大きく、他方と対向しない位置に接続部を備え、
前記信号伝達部材は、前記プリント基板に対して前記法線方向に沿って対向して配置され、前記接続部に対して少なくとも一方の端部が接続され、他方の端部側が内方に向かって延伸している
ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記接続部は、前記駆動素子の一部と同工程で形成された配線構造によって構成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1の基板と前記第2の基板との間に設けられ、これら第1の基板と第2の基板との間で信号を伝達する信号接続手段を備えた
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。 - 前記駆動素子は、薄膜トランジスタである
ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし3いずれか一記載の表示装置。 - 前記信号伝達部材は、フレキシブルプリント基板である
ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし4いずれか一記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1の基板の表示側と反対側に配置された導光体を具備した
ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし5いずれか一記載の表示装置。 - 前記光源は、前記導光体の一端と対向している
ことを特徴とする請求項6記載の表示装置。 - 前記光源は、LEDである
ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし7いずれか一記載の表示装置。 - 前記信号伝達部材は、前記他方の端部が前記第1の基板の表示側と反対側に固定されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし8いずれか一記載の表示装置。
