Abstract
Description
該ガスケット面において、該フィラ部材の端部が該フープ部材の端部よりも突出しており、そして
該ガスケット面の表面粗さRzが30μmから200μmである、うず巻形ガスケットである。
上記フープ部材の巻回前の厚みに対する該フィラ部材の巻回前の厚みの比率の百分率Trは200%から1500%であり、そして
該25%圧縮荷重Pと該比率の百分率Trとを用いて算出される、以下の式(I):
幅7.1mmおよび初期厚み(Th)0.13mmのSUS304帯鋼を絞り加工することにより、断面形状がW字状であるフープ部材を作製した。なお、作製したW字の断面形状を有するフープ部材は、曲げ部を構成する角度がすべて同一のものであった。他方、幅7.5mmおよび初期厚み(Tf)0.18mm〜2.08mmを有する種々の膨張黒鉛テープを準備し、これらのうち、25%圧縮荷重Pが、JIS 6254に準拠して5MPa〜9MPaの範囲にあるものを選択した。次いで、選択した膨張黒鉛テープをフィラ部材として用い、上記W字状の断面形状を有するフープ部材の片面に重ね、加圧ロールにて15kgfの荷重を負荷しながら、うず巻状に3回成巻した試験ガスケットを各フィラ部材(初期厚みTfおよび25%圧縮荷重Pの異なる各フィラ部材)について複数個ずつ作製した。なお、得られた試験ガスケットのガスケット面における、フィラ部材のはみ出し量は0.1mm〜0.4mmであった。さらに、得られた試験ガスケットについて、中央に直径49mmの開口部を有し、かつ試験ガスケットの外周および内周は上記フープ部材と同様のSUS304帯鋼を用いた補強を行った。
実施例1と同様のSUS304帯鋼を絞り加工することにより、種々の25%圧縮荷重Pおよび厚みの百分率Trを有するフィラ部材を作製し、かつ断面形状がV字状であるフープ部材を作製した。つまり、断面形状の異なるフープ部材を用いたこと以外は実施例1と同様にして、試験ガスケットを作製した。
フィラ部材として、膨張黒鉛テープの代わりに、幅7.5mmおよび初期厚み(Tf)0.18mm〜2.08mmを有する種々の非金属製ノンアスベストペーパーを用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、試験ガスケットを作製した。すなわち、種々の25%圧縮荷重Pおよび厚みの百分率Trを有するフィラ部材を作製し、かつ断面形状がW字状であるフープ部材を作製した。

Claims (2)
- 金属製フープ部材とフィラ部材との重ね合わせを、開口部の周囲に巻回しかつ一体化させ、端部にガスケット面を有する、うず巻形ガスケットであって、
該ガスケット面において、該フィラ部材の端部が該フープ部材の端部よりも突出しており、そして
該ガスケット面の表面粗さRzが30μmから200μmである、うず巻形ガスケット。
