Abstract
Description
本方法は、好ましくは複数の適用または洗浄サイクルを含み、各サイクルは、第1の洗浄溶液を第1の時間適用し、第2の洗浄溶液を第2の時間適用することを含む。複数の適用サイクルは、3〜200サイクル、5〜150サイクル、10〜100サイクル、20〜75サイクル、または30〜60サイクルなど、任意の数のサイクルであり得る。
任意の好適な化学物質を使用して、本方法で使用される第1及び第2の洗浄溶液を提供することができる。第1及び第2の洗浄溶液は、同じまたは異なる化学物質を含んでもよく、同じまたは異なる濃度を有してもよい。一部の実施形態では、第1の洗浄溶液は、第2の洗浄溶液とは異なり、かつ/またはより濃縮されている。例えば、第1の洗浄溶液は、有効成分を、最大20重量%、18重量%、16重量%、15重量%、14重量%、13重量%、12重量%、11重量%、または最大10重量%の濃度で含み得る。実施形態の少なくとも一部では、第1の洗浄溶液は、少なくとも2重量%、3重量%、4重量%、5重量%、6重量%、7重量%、8重量%、9重量%、または少なくとも10重量%の有効成分を含む。「有効成分」という用語は、本明細書では、組成物を希釈または製剤化(例えば、増粘、安定化、着色、保存など)するために使用される成分に対して、洗浄に活発に寄与する成分を指すために使用される。一部の実施形態では、第2の洗浄溶液は、0.1〜8重量%、0.2〜6重量%、0.2〜5重量%、0.2〜4重量%、0.3〜3重量%、0.4〜2.5重量%、または0.5〜2重量%の有効成分を含む。例えば、第2の洗浄溶液は、水中で約0.1〜5重量%または約0.5〜2重量%の腐食剤(NaOH)を含むCIP洗浄溶液であり得る。
第1及び第2の洗浄溶液(総称「洗浄溶液」)はまた、アルカリ性化合物、界面活性剤、溶媒、ビルダー、及び追加の構成成分を含んでもよい。好適なアルカリ性構成要素としては、NaOH、KOH、トリエタノールアミン(TEA)、ジエタノールアミン(DEA)、モノエタノールアミン(MEA)、炭酸塩、重炭酸塩、過炭酸塩、セスキ炭酸塩、モルホリン、メタケイ酸ナトリウム、ケイ酸カリウムなどを含む、洗浄用組成物中で典型的に使用される任意のアルカリ性化合物が挙げられる。
一部の実施形態では、界面活性剤は、非イオン性界面活性剤を含む。非イオン性界面活性剤は、汚れ除去を改善し、処理する表面上の溶液の接触角を減少させ得る。
アニオン性界面活性剤は、洗剤界面活性剤として有用であるが、ゲル化剤、またはゲル化もしくは増粘システムの一部として、可溶化剤として、また屈水性効果及び曇り点制御にも有用である。本組成物は、一つ又は複数のアニオン性界面活性剤を含んでもよい。本組成物に好適なアニオン性界面活性剤としては、カルボン酸及びそれらの塩、例えば、アルカン酸及びアルカン酸塩、エステルカルボン酸(例えば、アルキルスクシナート)、エーテルカルボン酸など;リン酸エステル及びそれらの塩;スルホン酸及びそれらの塩、例えば、イセチオン酸塩、アルキルアリールスルホン酸塩、アルキルスルホン酸塩、スルホコハク酸塩など;ならびに硫酸エステル及びそれらの塩、例えば、アルキルエーテル硫酸塩、アルキル硫酸塩などが挙げられる。
好適なカチオン性界面活性剤の例としては、アミン、例えば、アルキルアミン及びそれらの塩、アルキルイミダゾリン、エトキシ化アミン、ならびに第4級アンモニウム化合物及びそれらの塩が挙げられる。他のカチオン性界面活性剤としては、アミン化合物に類似した硫黄(スルホニウム)及びリン(ホスホニウム)系化合物が挙げられる。
両性及び双性界面活性剤としては、第2級及び第3級アミンの誘導体、複素環式第2級及び第3級アミンの誘導体、または第4級アンモニウムの誘導体、第4級ホスホニウムもしくは第3級スルホニウム化合物が挙げられる。アンモニウム、ホスホニウム、またはスルホニウム化合物は、脂肪族置換基、例えば、アルキル、アルケニル、もしくはヒドロキシアルキル;アルキレンまたはヒドロキシアルキレン;またはカルボン酸塩、スルホン酸塩、硫酸塩、ホスホン酸塩、もしくはリン酸塩基で置換され得る。ベタイン及びスルタイン(sultaine)界面活性剤が、本組成物中で使用するための例示的な両性イオン性界面活性剤である。
洗浄溶液はまた、一つ又は複数のビルダーを含んでもよい。ビルダーとしては、キレート化用薬剤(キレート剤)、封鎖用薬剤(封鎖剤)、洗剤などが挙げられる。ビルダーを使用して、組成物または溶液を安定させることができる。好適なビルダーの例としては、ホスホン酸及びホスホン酸塩、リン酸塩、アミノカルボン酸塩及びこれらの誘導体、ピロリン酸塩、ポリリン酸塩、エチレンジアミン、及びエチレントリアミン誘導体、ヒドロキシ酸、ならびにモノ、ジ、及びトリカルボン酸塩、及びこれらの対応する酸が挙げられる。他のビルダーとしては、アルミノケイ酸塩、ニトロロアセテート(nitroloacetate)、及びこれらの誘導体、ならびにこれらの混合物が挙げられる。更に他のビルダーとしては、エチレンジアミン四酢酸(EDTA)、ヒドロキシエチレンジアミン四酢酸(HEDTA)、及びジエチレントリアミン五酢酸の塩を含む、アミノカルボン酸塩が挙げられる。好ましいビルダーは水溶性である。特に好ましいビルダーとしては、EDTA(テトラナトリウムEDTAを含む)、TKPP(リン酸三カリウム)、PAA(ポリアクリル酸)及びその塩、ホスホノブタンカルボン酸、ならびにグルコン酸ナトリウムが挙げられる。
洗浄溶液は、一つ又は複数の有機溶媒を含んでもよい。好適な溶媒としては、有機溶媒、例えば、エステル、エーテル、ケトン、アミン、石油スピリット、芳香族溶媒、非芳香族溶媒、ならびにニトロ化及び塩素化炭化水素が挙げられる。好ましい溶媒としては、水溶性グリコールエーテルが挙げられる。グリコールエーテルの例としては、ジプロピレングリコールメチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールメチルエーテル、プロピレングリコールメチルエーテル、及びエチレングリコールモノブチルエーテルが挙げられ、これらは、それぞれ、DOWANOL(登録商標)DPM、DOWANOL(登録商標)DM、DOWANOL(登録商標)PM、及びDOWANOL(登録商標)EBとしてDow Chemical Company,Midland,MIから市販されている。ある特定の実施形態では、好ましい溶媒は不燃性である。
酵素を洗浄溶液中で使用して、デンプン、タンパク質、または油汚れなどの汚れを破壊することができる。例示的な酵素としては、プロテアーゼ、アミラーゼ、リパーゼ、及び他の好適な酵素が挙げられる。組成物を洗浄する汚れの種類に合わせて調整することで、例えば、タンパク質系の汚れをプロテアーゼで、デンプン系の汚れをアミラーゼで、油系の汚れをリパーゼで標的にすることができる。
CIP法を使用して、図1に示す大型の円錐型乳製品噴霧乾燥機を洗浄することができる。洗浄溶液の様々な組み合わせは、表1に示すように調製することができる。表中、各第1の洗浄溶液を「A」、各第2の洗浄溶液を「B」と表す。各洗浄溶液を調製し、記載する含有率で水と混合して、使用溶液を産出する。
洗浄方法を乾燥粉乳汚れに対して試験した。試験汚れの固形ケーキ(各75g)を、スキムミルク粉末から、5%の水をスキムミルク粉末に添加し、混合物を8時間100℃で乾燥させることによって試験皿中で調製した。試験汚れをパイロット規模の定置洗浄(CIP)チャンバ中で処理し、典型的な乳製品乾燥機において直面する浄化条件を再現した。
Claims (26)
- 機器の定置洗浄方法であって、前記方法は、複数の洗浄サイクル、及び任意選択のすすぎを含み、前記複数の洗浄サイクルが、3つ以上の洗浄サイクルを含み、各洗浄サイクルが、
(a)第1の洗浄溶液を第1の供給タンクから第1のノズルセットを通して適用することと、
(b)第2の洗浄溶液を第2の供給タンクから第2のノズルセットを通して適用することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記機器が、乾燥機、タンク、冷却塔、オーブン、またはベルトから選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記機器が、噴霧乾燥機を含む、請求項1または2のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ステップ(a)は第1の時間を構成し、ステップ(b)は前記第1の時間より長い第2の時間を構成する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の時間が、約20秒〜約10分である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の時間が、約1分〜約60分である、請求項4または5に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の時間が、約30秒〜約5分である、請求項4〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の時間が、約5分〜約20分である、請求項4〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の洗浄サイクルが、5〜150サイクルを含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の洗浄サイクルが、10〜100サイクルを含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2のノズルセットが、高圧ノズルを含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のノズルセットが、非加圧ノズルで構成される、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び第2の洗浄溶液が、前記第2の供給タンク中に再循環させられる、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び第2の洗浄溶液が、有効成分を含み、前記第1の洗浄溶液が、前記第2の洗浄溶液よりも高い濃度の有効成分を含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の洗浄溶液中の前記有効成分の前記濃度が、約4〜約20重量%である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の洗浄溶液中の前記有効成分の前記濃度が、約0.1〜約5重量%である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の洗浄溶液が、汚れ崩壊効果を提供する薬剤を含む、請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の洗浄溶液が、一つ又は複数のペルオキシジェン化合物を含む、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ペルオキシジェン化合物が、過酸化水素、過カルボン酸、過硫酸塩、過ホウ酸塩、過炭酸塩、またはこれらの混合物である、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の洗浄溶液が、酸を含む、請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の洗浄溶液が、ガス生成剤を含む、請求項1〜20のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ガス生成剤が、二酸化炭素または酸素を生成する、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の洗浄溶液が、金属水酸化物を含む、請求項1〜22のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び第2の洗浄溶液のうちの一方または両方が、界面活性剤を含む、請求項1〜23のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び第2の洗浄溶液のうちの一方または両方が、ビルダーを含む、請求項1〜24のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び第2の洗浄溶液の一方または両方が、溶媒を含む、請求項1〜25のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
