Abstract
Description

上記不透明マトリックス材料層が、単一のシートとして、または複数の層を含むラミネート構造として提供される、実施形態1から3のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
上記不透明マトリックス材料層が、透明材料層と光拡散を提供する拡散材料層とによる層スタックを含む、実施形態1から4のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
上記不透明マトリックス材料層が、少なくとも1つの光学的に不透明なクラッドを上に有するガラスコアを含む、実施形態1から5のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
上記不透明マトリックス材料層が、染料増感材料層を含む、実施形態1から6のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
上記不透明マトリックス材料層が、染料ドーピング液晶材料を含む、実施形態1から7のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
上記不透明マトリックス材料層が、400nmから800nmの範囲内の波長の関数としての透過係数において1つ以上のピークを有する材料を含む、実施形態1から8のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
複数のピークが、上記透過係数に存在し、ならびに上記イメージ源に形成された上記光学イメージの照明放射線の波長に一致する、実施形態9に記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
上記不透明マトリックス材料層が、異なる透過係数に対応する少なくとも2つの状態を有する材料を含む、実施形態1から10のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
オン状態の第二透過係数に対するオフ状態の第一透過係数の比率が、400nmから800nmの波長範囲内において0.001から0.5の範囲である、実施形態11に記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
上記不透明マトリックス材料層が、エレクトロクロミック材料層を含む、実施形態1から12のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
上記不透明マトリックス材料層が、フォトクロミック材料層を含む、実施形態1から13のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。

上記光学イメージが、上記イメージ源から上記不透明スクリーンを通過して見る人へと伝達される、実施形態1から17のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。

上記イメージ源が、可視波長範囲内での上記不透明マトリックス材料層の材料の不均一な透過係数曲線を相殺するための色加重明るさ調節システムを有する、実施形態1から23のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
視野角を制限する光学的特徴を含み、当該光学的特徴が、格子および反射面の配列から選択される、実施形態1から24のいずれか1つに記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。

Claims (5)
- 前側表面に光学イメージを提供するように構成されるイメージ源と、
イメージパネルの該前側表面を覆うように配置された不透明スクリーンと、
を含む表面ディスプレイユニットであって、該不透明スクリーンが、該イメージ源からの光を透過する、光を反射する、あるいは光を透過および反射する、不透明マトリックス材料層を含む、表面ディスプレイユニット。 - 前記不透明マトリックス材料層が、不透明ガラス−セラミック材料、染料増感材料層、および染料ドーピング液晶材料のうちのいずれか1つを含む、請求項1に記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
- 前記不透明マトリックス材料層が、400nmから800nmの範囲内の波長の関数としての透過係数において1つ以上のピークを有する材料を含み、複数のピークが、該透過係数に存在し、ならびに前記イメージ源に形成された前記光学イメージの照明放射線の波長に一致する、請求項1または2に記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
- 前記不透明マトリックス材料層が、異なる透過係数に対応する少なくとも2つの状態を有する材料を含み、オン状態の第二透過係数に対するオフ状態の第一透過係数の比率が、400nmから800nmの波長範囲内において0.001から0.5の範囲である、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の表面ディスプレイユニット。
