Claims (13)
- 基材と該基材の外面を覆うフィルタ層とを含むガス浄化装置で使用するためのフィルタエレメントであって、該基材はガスからガス汚染物質を除去するのに有効な化学物質を含むための素材を備え、該フィルタ層の該素材はガスからガス汚染物質を除去するのに有効な液状溶液吸着剤を吸着するために親水性であり、該フィルタ層で覆われている該基材の該外面は疎水性である、フィルタエレメント。
- 前記基材は複数のチャネルを含み、該フィルタ層は該チャネル内の該基材の前記外面の少なくとも一部を覆う、請求項1に記載のフィルタエレメント。
- 前記基材は、六角形の輪郭を有する前記チャネルの少なくとも一部によってハニカム形状を有する、請求項2に記載のフィルタエレメント。
- 前記チャネルは、非直線チャネル、すなわち単一の長手方向に延びる直線チャネルとは異なるチャネルである、請求項2に記載のフィルタエレメント。
- 前記基材は、その外面のみが疎水性であるように親水性材料を含む、請求項1に記載のフィルタエレメント。
- 前記基材が全て疎水性材料で作られている、前記いずれかの請求項に記載のフィルタエレメント。
- 空気などのガスを浄化するための装置であって、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のフィルタエレメントと、動作中に該フィルタエレメントの該フィルタ層に沿った前記ガスの流れを実現するための手段とを備える、装置。
- 前記フィルタエレメントの該フィルタ層の有効寿命に関する情報をユーザに示すための表示手段をさらに備える、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記フィルタエレメントが前記装置に取り外し可能に設けられている、請求項7乃至8のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記フィルタエレメントの前記フィルタ層の少なくとも一部に液体を噴霧するための噴霧装置をさらに備える、請求項7乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 液状化学物質を収容するためのタンクをさらに備え、前記噴霧装置が前記タンクに結合されている、請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧装置を所定の頻度間隔で作動させるためのタイマーをさらに備える、請求項10乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記ガス浄化プロセスの有効性をチェックし、該有効性が所定の基準値を下回っているように見える場合には前記噴霧装置を作動させるように構成された検出及び制御手段をさらに備える、請求項10乃至12のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
