【解決手段】エンジンに連結されるスタータジェネレータ16と、スタータジェネレータ16に接続される鉛バッテリ31と、鉛バッテリ31と並列にスタータジェネレータ16に接続されるリチウムイオンバッテリ32と、スタータジェネレータ16と鉛バッテリ31とを接続する導通状態と切り離す遮断状態とに切り替えられるスイッチSW1と、スタータジェネレータ16が力行状態に制御される場合に、スイッチSW1を導通状態から遮断状態に切り替えるスイッチ制御部と、リチウムイオンバッテリ32が正常に放電できる正常状態であるか否かを判定する蓄電体判定部と、を有し、スイッチ制御部は、スタータジェネレータ16の力行制御に伴いスイッチSW1が遮断状態に切り替えられ、かつリチウムイオンバッテリ32が異常状態であると判定された状態のもとで、鉛バッテリ31が閾値を上回って放電する場合には、スイッチSW1の遮断状態を維持する。

Description
車両用電源装置10が備える電源回路30について説明する。図2は電源回路30の一例を示す回路図である。図2に示すように、電源回路30は、スタータジェネレータ16に電気的に接続される鉛バッテリ(第1蓄電体)31と、これと並列にスタータジェネレータ16に電気的に接続されるリチウムイオンバッテリ(第2蓄電体)32と、を備えている。なお、リチウムイオンバッテリ32を積極的に放電させるため、リチウムイオンバッテリ32の端子電圧は、鉛バッテリ31の端子電圧よりも高く設計されている。また、リチウムイオンバッテリ32を積極的に充放電させるため、リチウムイオンバッテリ32の内部抵抗は、鉛バッテリ31の内部抵抗よりも小さく設計されている。
リチウムイオンバッテリ32の充放電制御について説明する。リチウムイオンバッテリ32の充放電を制御するため、車両用電源装置10にはマイコン等からなるメインコントローラ60が設けられている。メインコントローラ60や前述した各コントローラ23,42は、CANやLIN等の車載ネットワーク61を介して互いに通信自在に接続されている。メインコントローラ60は、リチウムイオンバッテリ32の充電状態SOCに基づいて、スタータジェネレータ16を発電状態または発電休止状態に制御することにより、リチウムイオンバッテリ32の充放電を制御する。なお、充電状態SOC(state of charge)とは、バッテリの設計容量に対する蓄電量の比率である。この充電状態SOCは、バッテリコントローラ42からメインコントローラ60に送信される。
続いて、鉛バッテリ31を保護するバッテリ保護制御について説明する。このバッテリ保護制御は、メインコントローラ60によって所定周期毎に実行される。図5はバッテリ保護制御の実行手順の一例を示すフローチャートである。また、図6は図5に示されるステップS13の詳細手順の一例を示すフローチャートであり、図7は図5に示されるステップS14の詳細手順の一例を示すフローチャートである。また、図8〜図13は、バッテリ保護制御の各過程における電力供給状況を示す図である。なお、図5〜図13には、スイッチSW1,SW2の導通状態がONとして記載され、スイッチSW1,SW2の遮断状態がOFFとして記載される。また、図5〜図7には、スタータジェネレータ16がISGとして記載され、鉛バッテリ31がPbBとして記載され、リチウムイオンバッテリ32がLIBとして記載される。

Claims (7)
- 車両に搭載される車両用電源装置であって、
エンジンに連結されるモータジェネレータと、
前記モータジェネレータに接続される第1蓄電体と、
前記第1蓄電体と並列に前記モータジェネレータに接続される第2蓄電体と、
前記モータジェネレータと前記第1蓄電体とを接続する導通状態と、前記モータジェネレータと前記第1蓄電体とを切り離す遮断状態と、に切り替えられるスイッチと、
前記モータジェネレータが力行状態に制御される場合に、前記スイッチを導通状態から遮断状態に切り替えるスイッチ制御部と、
前記第2蓄電体が正常に放電できる正常状態であるか、前記第2蓄電体が正常に放電できない異常状態であるかを判定する蓄電体判定部と、
を有し、
前記スイッチ制御部は、
前記モータジェネレータの力行制御に伴い前記スイッチが遮断状態に切り替えられ、かつ前記第2蓄電体が正常状態であると判定された状態のもとで、前記第1蓄電体が閾値を上回って放電する場合には、前記スイッチを遮断状態から導通状態に切り替える一方、
前記モータジェネレータの力行制御に伴い前記スイッチが遮断状態に切り替えられ、かつ前記第2蓄電体が異常状態であると判定された状態のもとで、前記第1蓄電体が閾値を上回って放電する場合には、前記スイッチの遮断状態を維持する、
車両用電源装置。 - 請求項1に記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記モータジェネレータを制御するモータ制御部は、前記第2蓄電体が異常状態であると判定されることで前記スイッチの遮断状態が維持された場合に、前記モータジェネレータを力行状態から発電状態に切り替える、
車両用電源装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記スイッチとしての第1スイッチと、
前記モータジェネレータと前記第2蓄電体とを接続する導通状態と、前記モータジェネレータと前記第2蓄電体とを切り離す遮断状態と、に切り替えられる第2スイッチと、
を有し、
前記スイッチ制御部は、前記第2蓄電体が異常状態であると判定されることで前記第1スイッチの遮断状態が維持された場合に、前記第2スイッチを導通状態から遮断状態に切り替える、
車両用電源装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記蓄電体判定部は、
前記モータジェネレータが力行状態に制御される状況のもとで、前記第2蓄電体の放電電流が電流閾値を上回る場合に、前記第2蓄電体が正常状態であると判定し、
前記モータジェネレータが力行状態に制御される状況のもとで、前記第2蓄電体の放電電流が前記電流閾値を下回る場合に、前記第2蓄電体が異常状態であると判定する、
車両用電源装置。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記蓄電体判定部は、
前記第2蓄電体の充電状態が蓄電閾値を上回る場合に、前記第2蓄電体が正常状態であると判定し、
前記第2蓄電体の充電状態が前記蓄電閾値を下回る場合に、前記第2蓄電体が異常状態であると判定する、
車両用電源装置。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記蓄電体判定部は、
前記第2蓄電体の内部抵抗が抵抗閾値を下回る場合に、前記第2蓄電体が正常状態であると判定し、
前記第2蓄電体の内部抵抗が前記抵抗閾値を上回る場合に、前記第2蓄電体が異常状態であると判定する、
車両用電源装置。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の車両用電源装置において、
前記第1蓄電体が閾値を上回って放電する場合とは、前記第1蓄電体の放電電流が電流閾値を上回る場合と、前記第1蓄電体の端子電圧が電圧閾値を下回る場合と、前記第1蓄電体に接続される大容量負荷が作動する場合と、の少なくともいずれかの場合である、
車両用電源装置。
