Claims (4)
- トナー像が形成された記録媒体に接触して前記記録媒体を加熱する回転可能な定着部材と、
前記定着部材との間を通過する前記記録媒体を加圧する回転可能な加圧部材と、
前記定着部材の表面に接触し、前記定着部材の回転軸方向にスラスト動作可能に設けられ、前記記録媒体を前記定着部材から分離する分離爪と、
を備え、
前記分離爪は、前記定着部材が使用開始から所定の開始条件を満たすまでは、前記定着部材の回転軸方向において初期位置に固定されていて、前記定着部材が前記所定の開始条件を満たしたときに、前記定着部材の回転軸方向へのスラスト動作を開始することを特徴とする定着装置。 - 前記所定の開始条件は、前記定着部材の所定の累積駆動時間の経過であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の定着装置。
- 前記所定の開始条件は、前記定着部材の所定の累積印字枚数の経過であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の定着装置。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の定着装置を備えていることを特徴とする画像形成装置。
