Abstract
Description
電動モータが占有していない空間に懸架機構との接続点やブレーキキャリパ取付部等を設けることができる。また、インホイールモータ駆動装置全体を小さくすることができるので、転舵機構による旋回運動や懸架機構による上下運動に伴う車体や懸架部品との干渉を回避しやすくしている。

Claims (8)
- 電動モータ部と、減速機部と、車輪用軸受部とから構成され、ケーシングを備えており、前記減速機部が平行軸歯車による減速構造を有するインホイールモータ駆動装置において、
前記平行軸歯車は、入力側中間歯車と出力側中間歯車を備えた1つ又は複数の中間軸と最終出力歯車を備えた出力軸とから構成され、前記中間軸と前記出力軸のそれぞれの両端部が転がり軸受によって回転自在に支持され、
前記転がり軸受のうち、前記入力側中間歯車に近接する転がり軸受と前記最終出力歯車に近接する転がり軸受の少なくとも一方が、前記近接する歯車の内径側凹部に配置されていることを特徴とするインホイールモータ駆動装置。 - 前記少なくとも一方の転がり軸受が、前記入力側中間歯車に近接する転がり軸受であり、前記入力側中間歯車の内径側凹部に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記少なくとも一方の転がり軸受が、前記最終出力歯車に近接する転がり軸受であり、前記車輪用軸受部に連結される前記出力軸の最終出力歯車の内径側凹部に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記最終出力歯車の前記内径側凹部の内径側幅面に窪み部が設けられ、この窪み部に前記車輪用軸受部の内輪を固定するためのハブ輪の加締め部が収容されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記最終出力歯車の窪み部と前記内径側凹部とが半径方向に重畳して形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記内径側凹部に肉抜き部と補強リブが形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記中間軸と前記出力軸との軸間距離が、前記入力側中間歯車と前記最終出力歯車の両ピッチ円半径を合計した寸法より小さく設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
- 前記減速構造が2段の平行軸歯車で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
