Description
上記の内容から当業者にとっては自明であるが、装置110に関して記載した変更例を用いて、装置130の他の実施形態を構成することができる。したがって、例えば、心室側巻回部132および把持要素140は、装置110に関して記載した他の構成、形状、大きさおよび/または材料を有していてもよい。装置の端部は、丸められていてもよいし、直角を形成してもよいし、尖っていてもよい。後述するように、装置130は1つまたは複数の回転防止要素を有していてもよい。心室側巻回部132および/または把持要素140は、前述したように、1つまたは複数の溝および/または穴を有していてもよい。また、装置にコーティングを施してもよい。
上記の内容から当業者にとっては自明であるが、装置110に関して記載した変更例を用いて、装置150の他の実施形態を構成することができる。したがって、例えば、心室側巻回部152および把持要素160は、装置110に関して記載した他の構成、形状、大きさおよび/または材料を有していてもよい。装置の端部は、丸められていてもよいし、直角を形成してもよいし、尖っていてもよい。後述するように、装置150は1つまたは複数の回転防止要素を有していてもよい。心室側巻回部152および/または把持要素160は、前述のように、1つまたは複数の溝および/または穴を有していてもよい。また、装置にコーティングを施してもよい。
本明細書に記載の様々な心臓弁修復装置は上記の方法において植え込むことができる。本装置の様々な特徴によって処置および機能が促進される。
Claims (20)
- 心臓弁の機能を補助する装置であって、
略螺旋形状の心室側巻回部であって、心臓弁に連結されている腱索が心室側巻回部の略螺旋形状の経路内に配置されるように、前記心臓弁の心室側に配置されるように構成されている心室側巻回部を備え、
前記装置が心房側安定化部分を有していない、装置。 - 前記心室側巻回部が略平坦である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記心室側巻回部が略円錐形である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記心室側巻回部の略螺旋形状が略円形である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記心室側巻回部の略螺旋形状が略楕円形である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記心室側巻回部を含めて前記装置がワイヤ、ワイヤ束、帯状部材、ロッド、チューブまたはこれらの組み合わせを含んでいる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が少なくとも部分的に金属材料によって構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が少なくとも部分的に形状記憶金属材料によって構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が少なくとも部分的にニチノールによって構成されている、請求項1に記載の装置。

- 心臓弁を修復する方法であって、
略螺旋形状の心室側巻回部を備えている心臓弁修復装置を心臓弁の領域に送達させることと、
前記心臓弁に連結されている腱索が前記心室側巻回部の略螺旋形状の経路内に配置されるように前記心室側巻回部を前記心臓弁の心室側に配置することと、からなり、
前記心臓弁修復装置が心房側安定化部分を有していない、方法。 - 前記心室側巻回部を配置する工程が、前記腱索が心室側巻回部の中心に近づくように心室側巻回部を第1方向に回転させることを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記心室側巻回部を配置する工程が、前乳頭筋に連結されている腱索および後乳頭筋に連結されている腱索が前記心室側巻回部の略螺旋形状の経路内に配置されるように心室側巻回部を配置することを含み、前記心室側巻回部を第1方向に回転させることによって前記前乳頭筋に連結されている腱索と前記後乳頭筋に連結されている腱索との間の隙間が狭まる、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記心室側巻回部を配置する工程が、前記心室側巻回部を第1方向に回転させた後に、前記装置における前記腱索の位置を調節するために、腱索が心室側巻回部の中心から遠ざかるように心室側巻回部を第2方向に回転させることを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記心臓弁修復装置を心臓弁の領域に送達させる工程が、送達システムを使用することを含み、前記心室側巻回部を配置する工程が、前記腱索が心室側巻回部の中心に近づくように前記送達システムを用いて心室側巻回部を第1方向に回転させることを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 心臓弁を修復する心臓弁修復装置を植え込むための送達システムであって、
アプリケータチューブと、
前記アプリケータチューブ内に位置している内側ロッドと、を備え、
前記内側ロッドが、前記心臓弁修復装置を操縦しているときに該装置を保持するように構成されており、
前記送達システムが、前記心臓弁修復装置を所望の位置に配置した後に前記アプリケータチューブに対して内側ロッドを前進させることによって該心臓弁修復装置を解放するように構成されている、送達システム。
