Claims (8)
- 膜電極接合体と、
前記膜電極接合体を挟持するアノード側セパレータ及びカソード側セパレータと、
前記カソード側セパレータの前記膜電極接合体側の面に前記カソード側セパレータの一端から他端にかけて第1方向に延在して設けられ、酸化剤ガスが流通する発電用流路と、
前記カソード側セパレータの前記膜電極接合体とは反対側の面に前記カソード側セパレータの前記一端から前記他端にかけて前記第1方向に延在して設けられ、前記第1方向に交差する第2方向で前記発電用流路と側壁によって隔てられていて、前記酸化剤ガスが流通する冷却用流路と、を備え、
前記発電用流路の前記酸化剤ガスが排出される排出口側の断面積は、前記発電用流路の前記排出口側よりも上流における前記発電用流路の断面積よりも小さく、
前記冷却用流路の前記酸化剤ガスが排出される排出口側の断面積は、前記冷却用流路の前記排出口側よりも上流における前記冷却用流路の断面積よりも大きく、
前記発電用流路と前記冷却用流路とを隔てる前記側壁に貫通孔が設けられている、燃料電池。 - 前記発電用流路の前記酸化剤ガスが供給される供給口側の断面積は、前記発電用流路の前記排出口側の断面積よりも大きく、
前記冷却用流路の前記酸化剤ガスが供給される供給口側の断面積は、前記冷却用流路の前記排出口側の断面積よりも小さい、請求項1記載の燃料電池。 - 前記発電用流路の幅は、前記発電用流路を流れる前記酸化剤ガスの流通方向において狭まるように階段状に変化し、
前記貫通孔は、前記階段状に変化する階段部に前記発電用流路を流れる前記酸化剤ガスの流通方向に直交して設けられている、請求項1または2記載の燃料電池。 - 前記発電用流路の幅は、前記発電用流路を流れる前記酸化剤ガスの流通方向において狭まるように階段状に変化し、
前記貫通孔は、前記階段状に変化する階段部の近傍に設けられている、請求項1または2記載の燃料電池。 - 前記発電用流路の幅が変化する前記階段部が複数設けられている、請求項3または4記載の燃料電池。
- 前記発電用流路の幅は、前記発電用流路を流れる前記酸化剤ガスの流通方向において狭まるように傾斜して変化し、
前記貫通孔は、前記傾斜して変化する傾斜部に設けられている、請求項1または2記載の燃料電池。 - 前記発電用流路の幅は、前記発電用流路を流れる前記酸化剤ガスの流通方向において狭まるように傾斜して変化し、
前記貫通孔は、前記傾斜して変化する傾斜部の近傍に設けられている、請求項1または2記載の燃料電池。 - 前記カソード側セパレータは凹凸形状をした金属板からなる、請求項1から7のいずれか一項記載の燃料電池。
