Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の第1の実施形態に係るOLED表示パネル1を概略的に示す。図1に示すように、OLED表示パネル1は、フレキシブル基板(フレキシブルフィルム)10と、その上に形成されたバリア層(バリアフィルム)12とを有する。フレキシブル基板10は、高分子材料、例えばポリイミドから形成されている。バリア層12は、高分子材料または無機材料から形成されている。

延伸フィルムの主延伸軸方向が電気光学パネルの長手方向に±30度の範囲内にある(最も好ましくは一致する)ことが好ましいことを上述した。しかし、例えばスクロールタイプのプロジェクタスクリーンのように、短い方の辺を曲げたり丸めたりするように設計された電気光学パネル、および他の部品の配置のために短い方の辺を曲げたり丸めたりすると予想される電気光学パネルもある。このような電気光学パネルについては、延伸フィルムの主延伸軸方向が電気光学パネルの幅方向(長手方向に直交する方向)に±30度の範囲内にあれば(最も好ましくは一致していれば)、電気光学パネルを曲げたり丸めたりする場合には、延伸フィルムの主延伸軸を曲げることになる。したがって、この場合には、延伸フィルムの主延伸軸方向が電気光学パネルの幅方向に±30度の範囲内にある(最も好ましくは一致する)ことが好ましい。
Claims (3)
- 光を発するか光の透過を制御する電気光学素子と、高分子材料から形成された延伸フィルムとを備えるフレキシブルな電気光学パネルであって、
前記延伸フィルムの主延伸軸方向が、前記電気光学パネルのいずれかの辺の方向に対して±30度の範囲内にある
電気光学パネル。 - 光を発するか光の透過を制御する電気光学素子と、高分子材料から形成された複数の延伸フィルムを備えるフレキシブルな電気光学パネルであって、
前記複数の延伸フィルムのうち、少なくとも光を出射する側に配置されている延伸フィルムの主延伸軸方向が、前記電気光学パネルのいずれかの辺の方向に対して±30度の範囲内にある
電気光学パネル。 - 前記電気光学素子よりも、光を出射する側に配置された高分子材料から形成された延伸フィルムである位相差フィルムと、
前記位相差フィルムよりも、光を出射する側に配置された高分子材料から形成された延伸フィルムである偏光フィルムとを備え、
前記偏光フィルムの主延伸軸方向が、前記電気光学パネルのいずれかの辺の方向に対して±30度の範囲内にある
請求項2に記載の電気光学パネル。
