Abstract
【解決手段】高電位側の第1端子および低電位側の第2端子の間に接続されたパワー半導体素子と、キャパシタと、パワー半導体素子がオフである期間の少なくとも一部において、キャパシタを充電する充電部と、パワー半導体素子がオンとなったことに応じて、キャパシタを放電させていく放電部と、キャパシタの電圧が閾値電圧よりも低くなったことに応じて、パワー半導体素子をオフ状態とする遮断部と、を備えるスイッチ装置を提供する。

Claims (11)
- 高電位側の第1端子および低電位側の第2端子の間に接続されたパワー半導体素子と、
キャパシタと、
前記パワー半導体素子がオフである期間の少なくとも一部において、前記キャパシタを充電する充電部と、
前記パワー半導体素子がオンとなったことに応じて、前記キャパシタを放電させていく放電部と、
前記キャパシタの電圧が閾値電圧よりも低くなったことに応じて、前記パワー半導体素子をオフ状態とする遮断部と、
を備えるスイッチ装置。 - 前記充電部は、前記第1端子からの電圧により前記キャパシタを充電する請求項1に記載のスイッチ装置。
- 前記充電部は、前記第1端子および基準電位の間に前記キャパシタと並列に接続されたクランプ部を備え、
前記キャパシタは、前記クランプ部によりクランプされた電圧を充電する
請求項2に記載のスイッチ装置。 - 前記クランプ部は、前記第1端子および前記基準電位の間に前記キャパシタと並列に接続されたツェナーダイオードを有する請求項3に記載のスイッチ装置。
- 前記充電部は、前記キャパシタおよび前記クランプ部における前記第1端子側の端子と前記第1端子との間に接続された第1抵抗を更に有する請求項4に記載のスイッチ装置。
- 前記パワー半導体素子を制御するための制御信号が基準電圧よりも高くなったことに応じて、トリガ信号を出力するトリガ部を更に備え、
前記充電部は、前記トリガ信号に応じて、前記第1端子および前記キャパシタの間の接続を遮断するスイッチ部を更に有する請求項2から5のいずれか一項に記載のスイッチ装置。 - 前記トリガ信号に応じてリセットされ、前記キャパシタの電圧が前記閾値電圧よりも低くなったことを示すタイマ信号に応じてセットされるラッチ部を更に備え、
前記遮断部は、前記ラッチ部がセットされたことに応じて前記パワー半導体素子をオフ状態とする
請求項6に記載のスイッチ装置。 - 前記トリガ部および前記ラッチ部は、前記制御信号を電源として動作する請求項7に記載のスイッチ装置。
- 前記遮断部は、前記キャパシタの電圧が前記閾値電圧よりも低くなったことに応じて、前記パワー半導体素子のゲートをプルダウンする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のスイッチ装置。
- 前記放電部は、前記第1端子および基準電位の間に前記キャパシタと並列に接続された第2抵抗または定電流源を有する請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載のスイッチ装置。
- 当該スイッチ装置は、前記第1端子に接続された点火コイルに流れる電流を、前記パワー半導体素子を制御するための制御信号に応じて制御するイグナイタである請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のスイッチ装置。
