Description
[金型]
まず、本発明の実施形態1に係る金型1の構造について、図1を参照して説明する。金型1は、金属板10(被成形部材)を成形するためのプレス金型であって、上金型(第1金型)1A及び下金型(第2金型)1Bを有する。金属板10は、鋼板やアルミニウム(Al)板などであり、その表面にAl又は亜鉛(Zn)を含む金属層10Aが形成されている。金属層10Aは、めっきなどの手法により形成されており、AlやZnなどの単体金属又はAl−Si、Zn−Al、Zn−Mg及びZn−Feなどの合金金属からなる。なお、金属板10上において金属層10Aが形成されていなくてもよい。また金型1は、図1に示す曲げ型に限定されず、抜き型、絞り型又は圧縮型などの他のプレス金型にも適用することができる。
図2に示すように、硬質皮膜12は、金型1の成形面4,5上において薄く且つ均一にコーティングされている。硬質皮膜12は、イオンプレーティング法やスパッタリング法などの物理蒸着(PVD)法によって形成されており、特にアークイオンプレーティング(AIP)法によって形成されていることが好ましい。しかし、成膜方法はこれに限定されず、例えば化学気相蒸着(CVD)法が用いられてもよい。硬質皮膜12の厚みTは、5μm程度である。なお、硬質皮膜12の成膜プロセスについては後に詳述する。
次に、硬質皮膜12の成膜プロセスについて説明する。図3は、硬質皮膜12の成膜に使用される成膜装置2の構成を示している。まず成膜装置2の構成について、図3を参照して説明する。
次に、本発明の実施形態2に係る硬質皮膜15について、図4を参照して説明する。実施形態2に係る硬質皮膜15は、上記実施形態1に係る硬質皮膜12と同様にCr、M及びCの各元素を含み、且つCの原子比が0.03以上0.5以下に調整されたものであるが、互いに組成が異なる第1の皮膜層13及び第2の皮膜層14を交互積層した多層膜である点が異なっている。
硬質皮膜の耐摩耗性について本発明の効果を確認するため、以下の実験を行った。
はじめに、図3に示す成膜装置2を用いて下記表1のNo.4の原子比を有する硬質皮膜を以下の手順で作製した。まず、皮膜の耐摩耗性を評価する摺動試験用の基材として、JIS規格SKD11(ロックウェル硬さ(HRC)60)のボール(直径10mm)を準備し、チャンバー21内のステージ24にセットした。また、下記表1のNo.4の原子比を有するCrWターゲットをAIP蒸発源22Aにセットした。
次に、下記表2のNo.1の原子比を有する硬質皮膜を作製した。まず、No.1の第1の皮膜層の原子比を有するCrターゲット及び第2の皮膜層の原子比を有する元素M(W)のターゲットをそれぞれ別のAIP蒸発源22A又はスパッタ蒸発源23Aにセットした。そして、成膜時には各蒸発源22A,23Aにおける成膜レート(アーク電流又はスパッタ電力)及びステージ24の回転数により、第1及び第2の皮膜層の各厚みを調整した。これにより、互いに組成が異なる第1及び第2の皮膜層が交互積層された硬質皮膜を成膜した。その他の成膜条件及び皮膜の試験方法は実施例1と同様とした。
上記表1,2に示す原子比を有する硬質皮膜を曲げ用の金型(R10、JIS−SKD61)に成膜した。また板材(ブランク)として、合金化溶融亜鉛めっき(GA)鋼板(亜鉛めっき鋼板)を準備した。そして、成膜後の金型を用いて加熱した亜鉛めっき鋼板の曲げ加工を行い、加工後における金型表面の亜鉛の凝着状態を確認した。成形条件及び凝着性の評価基準は以下の通りとした。表1,2に凝着性の評価結果を示す。

押し付け荷重:1t
板材の加熱温度:760℃
金型における板材との接触面において亜鉛が凝着している面積の割合(%)を算出し、以下の0〜5段階で評価した。
4:30%を超え且つ60%以下
3:20%を超え且つ30%以下
2:10%を超え且つ20%以下
1:0%を超え且つ10%以下
0:ほとんど凝着なし

Claims (11)
- 少なくともCr、M及びCの各元素を含有する硬質皮膜であって、
元素Mは、周期律表の4a族に属する元素、周期律表の5a族に属する元素、周期律表の6a族に属する元素であってCrを除いた元素、Al、Si及びBからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種類の元素であり、
前記硬質皮膜におけるCの原子比が0.03以上0.5以下である、硬質皮膜。 - 組成式がCr1−a−b−c−dMaCbNcXdである単層膜であり、
元素Xは、Fe、Ni、Co及びCuからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種類の元素であり、
前記組成式において、a、b、c、dはM、C、N、Xの各原子比であり、
0.01≦a≦0.2及び0.03≦b≦0.5の関係式を満たす、請求項1に記載の硬質皮膜。 - 0≦c≦0.2の関係式を満たす、請求項2に記載の硬質皮膜。
- 0≦d≦0.05の関係式を満たす、請求項2又は3に記載の硬質皮膜。
- 第1の皮膜層と第2の皮膜層を交互積層した多層膜であり、
前記第1の皮膜層は、組成式がCr1−e−f−gMeCfNgであり、前記組成式においてe,f,gはM、C、Nの各原子比であり、0.03≦f≦0.5及び1−e−f−g>eの関係式を満たし、
前記第2の皮膜層は、組成式がM1−h−i−j−kCrhCiNjXkであり、
元素Xは、Fe、Ni、Co及びCuからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種類の元素であり、
前記第2の皮膜層の前記組成式においてh,i,j,kはCr、C、N、Xの各原子比であり、0.03≦i≦0.5及び1−h−i−j−k>hの関係式を満たす、請求項1に記載の硬質皮膜。 - 前記第1の皮膜層は、0≦g≦0.2の関係式を満たし、
前記第2の皮膜層は、0≦j≦0.2の関係式を満たす、請求項5に記載の硬質皮膜。 - 0≦k≦0.05の関係式を満たす、請求項5又は6に記載の硬質皮膜。
- 前記第1の皮膜層の厚みは、前記第2の皮膜層の厚み以上である、請求項5〜7の何れか1項に記載の硬質皮膜。
- 元素Mは、W及びVより選択される少なくとも一種類の元素である、請求項1〜8の何れか1項に記載の硬質皮膜。
- 被成形部材を成形するための成形面を有する金型であって、
前記成形面上において請求項1〜9の何れか1項に記載の硬質皮膜が形成されている、金型。 - Al又はZnを含む金属層が表面に形成された前記被成形部材を成形する、請求項10に記載の金型。
