Claims (5)
- 車両に搭載される二次電池の管理装置であって、
前記二次電池を冷却する冷却機構と、
前記冷却機構を制御する制御部と、
を備え、
前記制御部は、ハイレートでの充電または放電に起因する前記二次電池の劣化ダメージ量であるハイレート劣化ダメージ量を算出し、前記ハイレート劣化ダメージ量が予め規定された冷却制限開始閾値以上の場合には、前記冷却制限開始閾値未満の場合よりも、前記冷却機構による前記二次電池の冷却を制限する、
ことを特徴とする二次電池の管理装置。 - 請求項1に記載の二次電池の管理装置であって、
前記制御部は、前記二次電池の材料劣化ダメージ量を算出し、前記材料劣化ダメージ量が、予め規定された材料劣化用の電力制限開始閾値以上である場合には、前記ハイレート劣化ダメージ量に関わらず、前記制限をかけることなく前記二次電池を冷却する、ことを特徴とする二次電池の管理装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の二次電池の管理装置であって、
前記制御部は、前記ハイレート劣化ダメージ量が高くなるほど前記冷却機構による冷却の制限を大きくする、ことを特徴とする二次電池の管理装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池の管理装置であって、
前記制御部は、前記ハイレート劣化ダメージ量が、予め規定されたハイレート劣化用の電力制限開始閾値以上である場合には、前記二次電池への入力電力および出力電力の少なくとも一方の許容値を低下させる電力制限を行い、
前記冷却制限開始閾値と前記ハイレート劣化用の電力制限開始閾値との間に、2以上の追加閾値が設定されており、
前記制御部は、前記追加閾値を一つ超えるたびに、前記冷却機構による冷却の制限を段階的に大きくしており、
一つの追加閾値と次の追加閾値との間隔は、前記ハイレート劣化用の電力制限開始閾値に近づくにつれて小さく設定されている、
ことを特徴とする二次電池の管理装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池の管理装置であって、
前記制御部は、前記ハイレート劣化ダメージ量が、充電過多に起因するダメージ量である場合にのみ、前記冷却機構による前記二次電池の冷却を制限する、
ことを特徴とする二次電池の管理装置。
