Abstract
【解決手段】少なくとも1つのポリビニルアセタールと少なくとも1つの可塑剤と少なくとも1つのカルボン酸のアルカリ土類金属塩とを含む混合物を押し出すための方法において、4個〜30個までの炭素原子を有する少なくとも1つの有機酸を0.001〜1質量%(PVB樹脂及び可塑剤の総質量を基準として)前記混合物に添加する、方法。前記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂のアルカリ滴定値が、押出前が−10〜50であることが好ましく、更に押出後が15〜80であることが好ましい方法。前記混合物が、アルカリ土類金属イオンを5〜200ppm又はアルカリ金属イオンを1〜200ppm含むことが好ましい、方法。更に前記混合物が、6〜26質量%のビニルアルコール基の割合を有するPVBである、方法。

Description
したがって、マグネシウム塩をACAとして含むPVBシートの押出プロセスを、マグネシウム塩をベースにするACAの加水分解が比較的遅い速度で起こるか、または完全に抑制されて、同時に起こる押出ダイ内部でのマグネシウムに富む層の不都合な形成が阻止されるか、または大きく減少されるような方法で改善する必要がある。
本発明にしたがって使用されるポリビニルアセタールは、ポリビニルアルコールまたはエチレンビニルアルコールコポリマーのアセタール化によって製造される。

・多価の脂肪族酸または芳香族酸のエステル、例えばアジピン酸ジアルキル、例えばアジピン酸ジヘキシル、アジピン酸ジオクチル、アジピン酸ヘキシルシクロヘキシル、アジピン酸ヘプチルとアジピン酸ノニルの混合物、アジピン酸ジイソノニル、アジピン酸ヘプチルノニル、およびアジピン酸と脂環式エステルアルコールまたはエーテル化合物を含有するエステルアルコールとのエステル、セバシン酸ジアルキル、例えばセバシン酸ジブチル、およびセバシン酸と脂環式エステルアルコールまたはエーテル化合物を含有するエステルアルコールとのエステル、フタル酸のエステル、例えばフタル酸ブチルベンジルまたはフタル酸ビス−2−ブトキシエチル。
・多価の脂肪族もしくは芳香族アルコールもしくはオリゴエーテルグリコールと、1つもしくは複数の非分岐鎖もしくは分岐鎖の脂肪族もしくは芳香族の置換基とのエステルまたはエーテル、例えばグリセリン、ジグリコール、トリグリコールもしくはテトラグリコールと直鎖もしくは分岐鎖の脂肪族もしくは脂環式カルボン酸とのエステル;後者の群の例は、ジエチレングリコール−ビス−(2−エチルヘキサノエート)、トリエチレングリコール−ビス−(2−エチルヘキサノエート)、トリエチレングリコール−ビス−(2−エチルブタノエート)、テトラエチレングリコール−ビス−n−ヘプタノエート、トリエチレングリコール−ビス−n−ヘプタノエート、トリエチレングリコール−ビス−n−ヘキサノエート、テトラエチレングリコールジメチルエーテルおよび/またはジプロピレングリコールベンゾエートを含む。
・脂肪族または芳香族エステルアルコールを有するリン酸エステル、例えばトリス(2−エチルヘキシル)ホスフェート(TOF)、トリエチルホスフェート、ジフェニル−2−エチルヘキシルホスフェート、および/またはトリクレジルホスフェート。
・クエン酸、コハク酸および/またはフマル酸のエステル。
プロセス試験を以下の通り実施した:PVB樹脂、可塑剤を同時に2軸スクリュー押出機の入口帯域に供給した。酢酸マグネシウム四水和物の水溶液を別個に計量して入口帯域に入れた。Versatic(登録商標)酸10を可塑剤の主要な量の溶液として供給した。シートをスリットダイから押し出して、巻き取り部で集めた。
エタノール100mlを実験室用フラスコ(250ml)に入れて、混合指示薬を数滴添加する(メチレンブルーおよびニュートラルレッド(1:1)の0.1%エタノール溶液)。希釈塩酸(0.005M)を、指示薬が緑色から青色に変化する時点まで加える。粉末状のポリビニルアセタール樹脂3gを撹拌しながら添加する。弱い加熱が完全な溶解に必要とされることがある。溶解が終了した後、溶液は、樹脂においてアルカリ性度が優勢の場合緑色であるか、または樹脂において酸性度が優勢の場合青色である。アルカリ滴定値を測定する場合、溶液を希釈塩酸(0.005M)で当量点まで滴定する。酸滴定値を測定する場合、溶液を希釈水酸化ナトリウム(0.005M)で当量点まで滴定する。酸滴定値は、負のアルカリ滴定値として用いることもできる。アルカリ滴定値=0.005MのHCl(ml)×100/樹脂重量(g)×2。酸滴定値=0.005MのNaOH(ml)×100/樹脂重量(g)×2。
アルカリ滴定値および酸価を以下の通り測定する:ポリビニルアセタールフィルム3gから4gまでを、エチルアルコール/THF(80:20)の混合物100ml中にマグネチックスターラー上で一晩溶解させる。希釈塩酸10ml(c=0.01mol/l)を添加する。過剰な塩酸は、2−プロパノール中のテトラブチルアンモニウムヒドロキシド溶液(TBAH、c=0.01mol/l)を用いて、タイトロプロセッサー(titroprocessor)(例えばMetrohm製)を使用してブランク試料に対して電位差滴定する。アルカリ滴定値は、滴定曲線における最初の当量点(1)に対して以下の通り算出される:試料100gあたりのml(HCl 1lあたり0.01mol)=(TBAH(1)ブランク(ml)−TBAH(1)試料(ml))×100/試料重量(g)。酸価は、滴定曲線における第二の当量点(2)に対して以下の通り算出される:meq/kg=(TBAH(2)試料(ml)−TBAH(2)ブランク(ml))×10/試料重量(g)。
押し出されたPVBフィルムの黄色値を測定するために、厚さ0.76mmの1つのフィルムと、2枚の2.1mmのPlaniluxガラスとを含む合わせガラスを、Hunterlab 2°/Cに設定されたColorQuest XEを使用して測定した。この方法によって、ガラスの固有色は、2枚の同一のガラスバッチをゼロ試料として測定することによって差し引かれて、中間層の黄色化への寄与が黄色値dbとして数値的に定められる。
Claims (14)
- 少なくとも1つのポリビニルアセタールと少なくとも1つの可塑剤と少なくとも1つのカルボン酸のアルカリ土類金属塩とを含む混合物を押し出すための方法において、4個から30個までの炭素原子を有する少なくとも1つの有機酸を0.001質量%から1質量%まで(PVB樹脂および可塑剤の総質量を基準として)前記混合物に添加することを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、押出前のポリビニルアセタール樹脂のアルカリ滴定値が−10から50までであることを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、押出後の前記混合物のアルカリ滴定値が15から80までであることを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記混合物がアルカリ土類金属イオンを5ppmから200ppmまで含むことを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記混合物がアルカリ金属イオンを1ppmから200ppmまで含むことを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記カルボン酸のアルカリ土類金属塩が、酢酸マグネシウム、2−エチル酪酸マグネシウム、2−エチルヘキサン酸マグネシウム、およびネオデカン酸マグネシウムからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記混合物が、6質量%から26質量%までのビニルアルコール基の割合を有するポリビニルブチラールを含むことを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記有機酸を押出前に前記混合物に添加することを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記有機酸を押出の間に前記混合物に添加することを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記有機酸を押出前に前記可塑剤中に溶解または懸濁させることを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記有機酸を、少なくとも1つの前記カルボン酸のアルカリ土類金属塩とともに水溶液または懸濁液として添加することを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記有機酸を液体または固体の形態で別個に前記混合物に添加することを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記有機酸のpKa値が4.75以上であることを特徴とする前記方法。
- 請求項1から13までのいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記有機酸が、2,2−ジメチルプロピオン酸、2,2−ジメチル酪酸、2,2−ジメチルペンタン酸、2,2−ジメチルヘキサン酸、2,2−ジメチルヘプタン酸、2,2−ジメチルオクタン酸、2,2−ジメチルノナン酸、2,2−ジメチルデカン酸またはネオデカン酸からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする前記方法。
